Little Max came to me when his mom felt like she was no longer able to effectively address his constant barking, pulling, lunging and jumping! She was seeking a way to better communicate with him to improve their relationship and express her expectations.

Nox the adolescent Doberman was struggling with reactivity towards other dogs and generally lacking self confidence. Nox’s owners sought Ridgeside to receive some help and guidance with their young, powerful boy!

beautiful Bella the Golden Retriever pup was beginning to struggle with some reactivity and resource guarding issues at a very young age! This was quickly concerning to her owners, as they have a young child and were worried about Bella’s behavior around him, as well as her overall lack of confidence.

Little miss Stella just completed the second half of her Puppy University with me!

Stella is the absolute sweetest girl, but her owners were struggling with her “teenage” antics like jumping, leash pulling, not coming when called, etc. so it was time for Stella to head back to school - after 2 weeks of new education, Stella returned home a MUCH improved version of herself!! 🥳

sweet, high energy shepherd mix Ori was having difficulty learning how to greet strangers properly, pulled constantly on walks, did not have a reliable recall and her mom had started to notice some increasing issues with resource guarding.

Ori spent 3 weeks with me and was an absolute blast to train! With a more correct understanding of rules and boundaries, as well as better overall engagement with her owner, Ori went home an even better version of herself!

Pooka

📍Silver Spring, MD

Pooka just completed her 2-week Board and Train program and went home to her family! This super high energy Aussie/Poodle mix was GO GO GO!

Her parents were very much ready to take the next steps in her training journey and make sure they were not only able to reliably keep her safe, but also afford her more freedom and have the ability to take her with them to enjoy different experiences while still remaining well mannered and under control.

Pooka loved to learn and loves to have a “job”, so structured training has allowed her to shine! Good girl, Pook! 🎉

Bennie

📍Falls Church, VA

Bennie was SUCH joy to train and work with! This sweet, energetic girl came to her 3 week Board and Train needing some help with manners and general obedience, but specifically her owners had high hopes that they could eventually be able to trust Bennie off leash and also ensure they were keeping her safe.

After 3 weeks, Bennie returned home and showed off her new skills and her owners were ready and excited for all the new freedom and opportunities they would now be able to allow their girl!

Millie

📍Vienna, VA

sweet Millie the young Boxer girl was VERY nervous and insecure away from home and her owners were struggling to find ways to give her all of the physical and mental stimulation she needed, while also being able to keep her safe.

Millie’s owners decided a fresh start might be what she needed, so Millie spent 3 weeks with me to learn how to navigate life with more confidence, as well as how to better control her impulses and have a much better understanding of what her family expected of her. Casey

Casey had just about every unwanted behavior covered! Jumping, chewing, dragging her owners down the street, no recall, no impulse control… Casey had quickly become quite a handful for her owners and it had begun to take a toll on everyone.

📍Purcellville, VA

Moose the handsome young Cane Corso was struggling with some insecurity and generally lacked impulse control and manners.

His mom reached out to try to find a better way to communicate with this sweet boy and make sure she could keep him safe and under control.

Brody

📍Arlington, VA

handsome, sweet Brody definitely wins the award for “most photogenic”! 🩷

This young Bernese Mountain Dog pup had a great start to obedience thanks to his owners, but he was lacking some confidence and was a little nervous about the world around him!

After spending two weeks with this guy, he not only came out of his shell and gained some much needed confidence, but he also gained some valuable new skills for his owners to continue with to ensure he is the best version of himself!

Bandito

📍Burke, VA

little Bandito the wonder mutt had developed quite a reputation at home for reactivity, nuisance barking, lack of impulse control around food and even some resource guarding.

This smart little dude loved to learn and be challenged, but his owners really needed assistance in communicating with him what their expectations were and getting his reactivity on walks under control in the very busy area they live.

3 weeks later, Bandito returned home and showed off his new found skills and education to his family and I am so happy they were able to see what he was capable of with clear and fair communication in place! 🙂

Lucky

little Lucky went home after completing his 3 week Board and Train with me!

Lucky is a very high energy, sometimes mischievous miniature Schnauzer puppy who was struggling with impulse control, jumping, chewing and general manners. His owners decided to seek some assistance in establishing better communication and boundaries with Lucky before he got too far along in his bad habits.

Lucky is the absolute sweetest little dude and not only did he gain some very valuable education, he also went home a much more confident pup!

Millie

📍Charles Town, WV

Millie is a young, very high energy girl who lives in a very busy household with children, other dogs, etc. and her owners felt it was time to make sure they laid a good foundation of communication, rules and boundaries before she developed too many unwanted behaviors.

After this sweet girl spent 3 weeks with me, she returned home an absolutely new and improved version of herself and she wasted no time showing off her skills to her mom - Great job, Millie! 🥳

Maggie

Maggie!! Maggie quickly became a familiar face around our Wi******er facility, starting daycare and puppy training when she was just 10 weeks old.

After Maggie’s mom determined one on one lessons just weren’t giving her the volume of repetition she felt Maggie needed, we transitioned to a Board and Train program. Maggie spent 3 weeks with me to work on her manners, impulse control and reliable recall.. she was an absolute star! 🌟
