Dawnus had a cracker of a weekend out at Orange supporting a new club at their first ever trial. Kiwi (Ch Dawnus Cheese All Black SWN JC AFCH) had a perfect run getting Q’s in Advanced Interiors, Advanced Vehicles, Advanced Exteriors and Novice Containers. Cricky ( Ch Killara’s First Class Ticket SWA) picked up 2 lovely passes in Excellent Interiors and Excellent Exteriors. Finally Crackhead Jones (Ch Lanbart Critter Sweet Symphony SWE SWC SWX JC WNPD ET FD) showed her love of Containers with another Master’s Containers Q. A big well done to Orange Dog Sports Club on a successful first trial - wonderful venue and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Thank you to everyone that helped over the weekend with getting the dogs in the ring. So very proud I finally ticked off that winning a group with my own breeding - a very proud moment. Alfie is still so young, not yet 18 months old and has a big future ahead of him!

The Field girls have done it again! National Champions - this time in Open Division 2. Well done to Marleen at Kuma on gaining your lure coursing CAM title this past weekend. Kuma is the first Field Spaniel in Australia with this title and the first dog in Western Australia! Congrats!

Dawnus Fields were in attendance at the Sydney this past Saturday at the Sporting Spaniel stand. Fly, Kiwi and Alfie just loved meeting everyone and getting all the pats - such great ambassadors for the breed! See you all again next year!

Fly had a huge weekend of flyball racing - seeing her smash her PB and run 5 flat at start 🤯🤯 her team Thunderdogs 7 came 1st in Div 3 on Saturday and 2nd on Sunday. Buzzy dog was so happy to be back doing her favourite sport 🎾💕

On the weekend some of the Dawnus crew headed down to the Southern Highlands to compete in their annual scent work trial. I am happy to announce that the mother daughter duo of Bear & Kiwi picked up their final pass that they required to each earn their Scent Work Novice titles! Pending DNSW they can be known as Ch Neut Gr Ch Dawnus Always Dare to Dream ET WPD SWN and Ch Dawnus Cheese All Black JC AFCH SWN.
