Thank you all who booked stays for your pets with Nana's Home for Christmas and New Year's. Your trust means everything to us!

We are now opening a waitlist for this busy period. If we receive a cancellation, the pet next in line on the waitlist will be placed. We have three priority groups on the waitlist:

1st priority: Club+ members
2nd priority: Club members
3rd priority: no membership

In each priority group we place pets on the "first come, first serve" basis.

❓Is it not too late to book?

If you haven't arranged a stay for your pet yet, it's not too late!
We are continuously onboarding new Pet Hosts into our network, so our capacity is expanding every week.
Travel plans and dates tend to fluctuate throughout November, so it is likely we will receive cancellations of the already confirmed stays
Once you request your booking, we'll let you know what your position on a waitlist is.

Our Nana’s Home Pet Taxi is:

🍃 Environmentally friendly
We use an electric cargo bike

⛑ Safe
The Babboe bike designed especially to transport dogs has a hard point for attaching the leash inside and seat belts to secure the bag)

🐶 Fun
The ride is enjoyable for dogs who like looking at the road and cozy for those who don’t, as they can lay down or go under the bench

The cost of the transport service is €30/€25/€20 depending on your membership plan + €1/km calculated (using Google Maps’ shortest route) between your address and the address of the Pet Host.

We’re so grateful to have had this amazing group of our Pet Hosts join us for the training on pet care.

Some joined recently, some have been with us for a while, but we immediately felt connected spending this cozy evening together, walking around in slippers, learning, brainstorming, and sharing drinks and Hot Dogs (pun totally intended 🐶🔥)

Summer is around the corner! While your pet parent is booking flights and hotels, remind them to also book a cozy stay at one of our Nana's Homes for you. It's a busy time so don't wait too long!

Our summer booking calendar is open for Nana's Home Club members. If your owner is already a member, they have priority and are able to book your stay until the end of September. Non-members will only be able to book from 1st of June.

A bittersweet morning today at Nana’s Home. We met with a family from Ukraine who needed a temporary home for their three cats Emma, Ebby and Buggy while they set up their new life in the UK.

We feel honored that they trusted us, essentially strangers, with the well being of their furry family members.

We’re also thankful to and proud of our volunteer Pet Hosts and .l.k ❤️

We wish the family safe travels and good luck in the UK, and hope to see them reunite with the cats in a few weeks.

When we decided to start Nana’s Home, we wanted to create a community of loving, caring and supportive people who would find their purpose in giving and receiving love from animals while making their owners smile. This is at the center of everything we do and all that we invest in the project – straight from our hearts.

As we see the horrific events unfold in Ukraine and the human drama that keeps building up, we know it’s time to step up.

We have been contacted by an Ukrainian friend trying to place a family with two dogs and finding it incredibly difficult because of the pets. Needless to say, it’s an additional stress factor for people who have already sacrificed so much.

This is where we can help.

We are a tribe of experienced pet hosts who can help by opening our homes and offering our time and love to the pets of Ukrainian refugees until their owners find a more long-term solution.

It might not seem like much, but every bit of peace of mind we can offer will hopefully have a positive impact on people that just weeks ago were going about their lives just like we are now.

Today I found a blankie that reminds me of when I was a small kitten (well, smaller than now, anyway).

Sitting down for a drink after a walk with Champie is always a treat. This good boy always gets pets and love from guests at the neighboring tables.

Sometimes he even chooses to sit at another table for a bit 😂 Not that I’m jealous, but… well, yeah, it makes me a tiny bit jealous 😂 But the other guests love it and Champie is happy, so that’s all that matters ❤️
