I have been involved in dog rescue since 2012. In 2021 I took in my first own funded dog to be rehomed - from then many more have been successfully rehomed in Spain and overseas

Looking for a new home direct from owner.
His name is siempre and he’s a 2 year old Staffordshire terrier cross.
His passport doesn't mention he’s a PPP. He’s been neutered and chipped with no health problems
He's still very playful

Still desperately seeking a quiet retirement home for these two smallies. Both 12. The white and tan female is spayed. The boy is entire, but sleeps all the time.
Both are chipped and up to date on vaccinations, flea and tick treatment and wormers.
The girl can be a bot nervous until she accepts you but isnt aggressive or nippy. They sleep together in the same small bed.
Owner is immobile and is returning to the UK this sunday and I need to find a place for them on saturday.
These two would not do well in kennels and certainly not a busy noisy crowded rescue.
They would be fine with other small relatively quiet dogs. No idea re cats.
Can anyone offer respite? Even if it was until a final home was found although I cant guarantee how long that would take.
Theyre both healthy and have been in a home all their lives.

UPDATE on the 3 little dogs needing a home
Poppy the youngest is adopted to the UK and will be travelling end of August. I need a short term foster for her.
The other two have NOT been adopted yet. There have been some amazing offers, so theyre safe BUT they really need to be adopted together, into a quiet home.
Theyre both 12 years old.
The boy is very quiet and small a cross of Chihuahua and Jack Russell but is Chi sized, He mostly sleeps. He is entire and at his age I wouldnt be looking to castrate.
The girl is a jack russell cross and the size of one, small but bigger than a Chi. Shes quite timid initially but then comes out of her shell. Both are rescues.
The owner - whom Ive been to see twice, is almost immobile. Her relatives are taking her back to the UK flying out early on Sunday 28th July and Im collecting the dogs on the saturday afternoon of the 27th.
They have all been very well looked after in a home, chipped passported and the girls spayed. Up to date every year on vaccinations, worming and flea/tick treatments.
Ideally Im looking for a quiet home for the two oldies. Theyre in good health housetrained and just looking for retirement.
Can anyone offer a space? Theyd likely be fine with other dogs but ideally quiet ones. I dont really want to put them into kennels at any stage
In an ideal world, someone would offer a home for all 3, Poppy just until end of august when she travels, and then keep the other 2.
Its going to be stressful enough for them to be moved from the only home and person theyve known without being bounced into kennels etc.

Pancho. This gorgeous 2 years old Malinois boy was found on an empty lot.
His 'owner' would appear a couple of times a week to throw some bread and bits for him to eat. The owner was happy to hand him over and now he's in kennels.
Pancho was quite aloof when he came. Mali's love humans and bond fast. But he just wasn't showing any interest and only wanted to go back to his kennel. It's where he felt safe.
A couple of months later and he's a different dog. He loves to engage, loves cuddles and snuggles.
And he's ready to re-home.
He walks great on the lead. He has energy but he's not manic. He loves to learn.
He would suit a home with a garden or in the Campo. A human to take him out for walks and hikes. And who will do a bit of training with him.
Whilst he's never been in a home, he would house train easily. He's fine with other dogs. He seems not bothered about cats but he's not been cat tested.
Gentle mouthed. You can handle him all over.
Chipped passported vaccinated and castrated.

I spoke to Alfie this morning.
He says he can't understand why no one seems to want him.
I asked him his story.
He said he was wandering around near Cordoba and found a lady to help him. Then a rescuer offered to help.
Despite posters and social media, his owners didn't come forward, or didn't want him and Alfie got depressed.
He was offered a fabulous foster home and this is where he is now, living with another dog and the house cat.
He's clean in the home, not destructive, sleeps through the night, adores his cuddles, walks perfectly on the lead, travels well in the car and sits quietly at cafes.
Alfie is in perfect health, and can travel. He weighs 15kg and is below knee height. Located Alhaurin el Grande Málaga Spain

Yesterday I posted in desperation about a husky who had been abandoned for 2-3 weeks in a village in the Granada area.
Amazingly one of my FB friends saw it and decided to take him in (yeah s*x change dog hahahaha cos no one had actually checked).
And here he is on his way - a 3 hour round trip but well worth it.
Look at that smile. The smile of a doggy who knows he is on his way to be loved and looked after.
They all deserve homes dont they :)

Friend of mine Nicola Toner asked me if I could help and see if anyone would like to take her in. I can't. She can't. And seemingly no one can.
I'd hate her to end up in the municipal pound as I'm hearing the most awful things about those places now - not feeding the dogs and over crowding leading to fights and dead dogs due to the regulations.
Anyone?

As many of you know, the last three months have seen me preoccupied with my mothers illness. I didn’t see until recently that another dog treat company had set up – two actually, one English and one Spanish. I guess I should be happy as imitation is the best form of flattery. And I should have noticed that the stock wasn’t going, but I didn’t.
Sadly for me, all the profits from this business enabled the residence fees to be covered for the rescue dogs I take on, currently 3 in residence and one in foster.
Going forwards I will not be taking on any more rescue dogs until I can somehow recoup that income.
Below is the list of the last of my retail stock, and once its gone, I will no longer be offering smaller retail bags of products, but instead will shift totally to the new wholesale club version
As you can see from those prices, large savings can be made, and people can club together to purchase the bigger bags. They have a very long shelf life as long as they're stored in a cool area.
The stock I get is sourced from Europe and is produced to the highest standard, slowly dehydrated to ensure the integrity of the nutrients are not lost. They are then frozen to ensure no bugs exist.

Yum Yum - This was the dogs and cats brekkie this morning.
On the menu was chicken with bone, minced chicken meal, minced goose and beef green tripe, beef strips and a spoonful of Kefir
A good mix of proteins to ensure they get all the amino acids their bodies need, and some chicken thigh as that contains Taurine, a vital nutrient for the heart.
Literally scoffed in thirty seconds - faster than I eat a choccy biccie.......maybe..... 😂😂

Hershey was found abandoned as a pup. Taken into a family and housetrained and socialised. He's now a year old and has been challenging the other male dog, it's got cnasty so sadly the decision has been made to find him a new home. He gets on fine with the other two dogs of the house, all rescues.
The ideal home would be a calm energy with a couple of other dogs.
He's 45 kgs, so is a large sized but not full mastin. He is a Mastin cross.
Fully vaccinated chipped and passported. As yet not castrated but this can be done prior to adoption.
Hershey is such a big lovable goof, although he is a large dog he will always try and get on your lap for cuddles. He loves to sleep and once he has had his cuddles he will find a quiet place to snooze away.
He loves to play fight and is very gentle when he does so, he will play peacefully and gets on well with other dogs. He loves to play with toys, he will play fetch and sits and waits for you to throw the ball.
He loves running water and playing in mud.
He is very protective and will let you know if someone is at the house although as soon as they enter he acts like their best friend
He knows his basic commands and is muzzle trained.

The gorgeous Judith needs a new home. She's fighting with the other female - bitch wars are nasty and with the owners now having to relocate countries the upheaval will likely make things worse.
Judith is in Mijas Costa and can travel. She is 2 years old, chipped and passported. She has been with her current owners since 3 months old
Judith is 42kg she is a cane corso grey color with beautiful green eyes!
She is very playful and her favorite toy is a rope! She is not neutered yet but she will be if necessary.
She is good in the léash and she loves to go for walks.
When I bring her for walks with no leash she is very attentive and always checking on me. She loves any kind of treats.. and she loves her food!!! We are feeding her on raw meat.
She knows all commands, but is stubborn. Never had any problem with other dogs, however she needs to socialize bit more. I have a castrated male home and she is fine with him.
We live in a country house with a huge garden, she loves to do her guarding but prefer to stay close to humans and loves to be cuddles: she is my shadow!
She can be quite talkative.. she always tries to get what she wants crying. She is very very lovely and can be a great companion.
She got close to kids but never get used to them, not good with cats and would suggest somebody that take her alone or with male dogs..
It really breaks my heart to get to this decision of rehoming her but it’s not good life for her to be separate!

Manu is a 5 year old gsd cross sadly looking for a new home.
His owners were neglecting him and so he has been taken into foster. But the foster only has a tiny patio.
Manu needs his home. He's fabulous with people. Great with dogs. Not so good with cats lol.

Doggy din dins.
I changed to raw feeding around 7 years ago when we moved from the coast to inland.
The main reason was actually as I had read that the p**p produced was less, organic and non smelly. As we had more land this really appealed to me especially as we had 7 dogs!!
What I noticed was calmer dogs, glossier silky coats, clean white teeth, a zest for meals and over the years, hardly any vet visits!
It's important to ensure a good mix of proteins over the days and weeks to get all the amino acids their body needs.
Tonight is green tripe, minced chicken, chicken breast cube, pork cubes and a free range egg :)
Working with your reactive dog using gentle methods. Something I totally approve of and do :)

I took Eco into the woods today - he travelled well in the car although he did bark at traffic. He walked past humans fine and greeted one lady well who wanted to pet him.
He so wants his final home. The way he lay down in the car, some comfort from the kennels he's in.
He's healthy, castrated and would love a home where he got some activity. Hiking, agility, anything like that.
He can travel. He's based in alhaurin el grande Malaga.
Such a lovely boy. Please help me get him out there.

Lord is an older Malinois, we estimate at 9 or 10.
He was found dumped in the Mijas area, someone called Seprona and he ended up in a perrera.
They were leaning to having him PTS (it wasn't El Paraiso) but the lady who had originally seen him, decided to save him.
I suspect he was a guard dog on some land and when he got too old he was dumped to his fate :(
He's in residence and really doing well. Putting on weight and relaxing. He gets stressed out in small spaces so no kennels.
He needs his retirement home. Somewhere where he can potter around and accompany his human.
He'll repay you with devotion and loyalty.

Alma is a 2.5 year old Malinois.
Rescued last year by Spanish friends when they heard the dogs in distress in a shipping container!!
Alma has a bad flea allergy which is all cleared up now.
She went to residence in Cordoba but needs her own home. She's rather driven and ideal for sports or anything where activity and learning is available. She has that incredible total focus on the ball or toy that you expect from this breed.
Great with humans and dogs. Not so good with livestock or cats.
Unlikely to have been in a home so allowing for any adjustments will be necessary

Eco at Agility. He picked it up so fast. A great dog to have fun with but also to cuddle.
He's fine with other dogs too. :)
Eco is a year old now. He's had a crappy time until now. Tied up in the home he was living in, never taken anywhere. The husband was beating the wife and him.
Wife decided to leave but didn't dare leave Eco. So he came to me.
He's in kennels but living in an outside enclosure as he was stressing in the kennel pens.
He's not had any training but learns oh so fast.
I've taken him to agility and he adores it.
He is GSD X Malinois, but is more gsd in his attitude than Mali. He's a bit bouncy initially, just a big puppy.
He's chipped passported castrated and healthy. He can travel and needs his forever home.

Noa the Malinois enjoying a good play. She's about 2. Spayed chipped passported and ready for her furever home She's in Malaga but can travel. Fabulous with humans and other dogs. A little on the timid side but very loyal and fine once she gets to know you. No cats. She's very keen on them lol. Fine with chickens though! Pm for info.
Donna. She is a fabulous 4 year old female Belgian Shepherd Malinois She used to live tied up on a Finca in Granada. Her owner sent her to the Baza pound. Not a very nice place. She was there a few months and getting stressed so we pulled her out in July She's still in kennels although private ones, and she's really getting very stressed out. She's lost loads of weight and needs her final home. She walks great on a collar and leash. Good recall. Is loving. Needs a good sized garden or land and walks out. She's quite active but isn't one that needs sports or agility. She has a well rounded personality. Great with humans. Fine with dogs. Not sure re cats. Based in Alhaurin el Grande and can be met and trialled in Spain. Pm for more info.
Chanel. 1.5 YO female Malinois. She needs and active style home. Currently in kennels and stressing out as she needs her home. She’s loving and gentle mouthed but loves to work. Very focused. Perfect for sports or obedience or nose work. She’s not aggressive or hard core so is perfect for someone with some dog experience but who would like to enter sports or be slightly challenged. She’ll make you look good as she does me! She’s had some basic training. Travels fine in a car - gets in and out. Loves hugs. Good with kids. Fine with other dogs. Too interested in cats so I would say no. Only issue is anxiousness if you leave her so a safe enclosed space for her to stay in when you’re out until you teach her you’re coming home would be ideal. Lila. Saved a few weeks ago from being tied on a short chain, no shelter, hardly fed. She has a beautiful gentle nature. But also is extremely sharp and intelligent. Good with other dogs, humans, kids. Not cat tested but can be arranged. Gentle mouthed. Loves to sniff and walk. Will need a home where she gets walks and taken out. Meeeeet Rocco! What a gorgeous dog! Definitely wants to be trained. He’s offering natural traits such as sit and heel already. He’s gentle mouthed. No nipping or biting. He does jump up but only as the others encourage him. That can be trained out fast. He will need a home where he’s actively trained. Yes he can be a pet (ours are) but also time will be needed to train him and do things with him. Mondio, Obedience, agility- he can turn his paw to anything. He’s based in Alhaurin el Grande Spain.
