Please Help ... Do You Know This Dog?

We need your help. This is Allie … named after the deputy who saved her from euthanasia. Allie was found outside of a gas station in Devils Lake, North Dakota. She was picked up and taken to the pound where she was set to be put down. A kind deputy took her home so she wouldn’t be euthanized and then brought her to Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue.

We believe this beautiful dog belongs to someone who loves her and misses her. She’s sweet, loving, well-groomed and healthy. Unfortunately, she does not have a collar or chip. Can you help us find her owners? They may be local or perhaps they were passing through and she unexpectantly jumped out of the car. In any case, she deserves to go home.

If this is your dog or if you know who owns her, please message our page. And, if you could share this post, we’re hoping enough people will see it and someone will recognize her.

Let’s get Allie home!

Our Marshall so desperately longs for a home. He doesn’t care how many mountain peaks he has to climb – he just wants to be there because he knows that even the hardest roads can lead to the best places! He’s been in rescue far too long & that hope in his heart is starting to flicker a bit. He just doesn’t know why he isn’t being chosen – and neither do we.

Marshall is looking for a Forever Home where he can be with people who will cherish him the way he deserves! He would be fine as an only adored dog, but he’d also do fine if there was a playful good-natured female canine companion waiting there for him. And he says if you throw in some games of fetch & a few toys, he will be forever grateful! He is around 6 yrs old, weighs in the low 50s, and is handsome and agile, seeming to do fine with cats.

If you want to make our boy’s dream come true, check out the Pink Pinned Post at the top of our page marked “IMPORTANT INFORMATION!” It will tell you where to find more info & photos of Marshall & exactly what the next step is if you’re interested in adoption! (For some reason, Facebook isn’t moving his album up in sequence so you have to scroll down quite a way for it in the Photos section of our page!)

We can transport Marshall almost anywhere in the continental US & southern Ontario for no additional charge over our usual $150 adoption fee! Marshall thanks you from the bottom of his heart and asks, even if you can’t adopt, would you consider sharing his post in hopes his Forever Family is out there somewhere and will see it?

Dog adoptions just $50 in September!

September is a great time to adopt a dog through Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC). All month, it’s just $50 to adopt an adult dog - a savings of 50% or more off the regular adoption fee. Your adoption fee includes a King County pet license (if applicable), shelter veterinary exam including vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, microchipping, 30 days of opt-in pet insurance through Trupanion, and more.

We're reorganizing our website. If you aren't finding what you need, please use our site search, in the upper right corner.
