We attended the Southwest Aquatic Society holiday party this past weekend - a fun and action packed day with local aquarists.

We supported the club by helping with the raffle - the club sponsors came through with some awesome donations!

Delicious holiday lunch was served, a huge auction, 40+ gift white elephant gift exchange and the raffle ..what a day!!

We are attending the Southwest Aquatic Society monthly meeting today! We have an awesome speaker scheduled, followed by an auction.
Today, we brought Polar Blue Parrot fish, Susswassertang, Valesneria and Java Moss.

They are VERY interested in the sweet potato roots 😆

Pro tip: if you forget about the sweet potato in your pantry and it grows roots, put it in your tank to help with nitrates!

They do great in warm waters, around 78°. Raised in Phoenix tap water.

Found this shrimp after not seeing anything in tank 3 (the tank the shrimp is in) for at least 2 weeks!

This is a red cherry shrimp (neocaridina) and likes a pH of about 6.5 - 7.5. It was raised in Phoenix tap water. A good temperature is around 76°F.
