Summer is here, and it's been so hot that outside time is restricted to early morning and late evenings. The dogs prefer to lie on the cool tiles indoors, where thankfully it stays cool. A few times I have been tempted to lie on the tiles with them!

It’s been a big week here — I’ve officially welcomed a very special new rescue pup into the family… everyone, say hello to Cookie! 🍪🐶

Cookie has been with us for just one week, and already he’s stealing hearts left and right 💕 He’s settling in beautifully, getting to know his new home, and making fast friends with the rest of the crew. 🐾🐕🐾

It’s amazing to watch his personality shine a little more each day — we feel so lucky to have him in our lives! 💫

Enjoying the sunshine this morning, although still a bit cold. The dogs don't mind the cold and are excited that Spring is here.

After playing in the field, they are trying out new beds. Nothing better than a nap before lunch is served!

I might come back as a dog next time!

Got to love a Spaniel !
Jesse is a delight to look after.
Loving and affectionate, typical Spaniel and you have to smile as you watch him race through the long grass, ears flapping and the biggest smile on his face.

He also made us smile by trying out all of the beds even the tiniest ones use by the Chihuahua and the cat.

Look forward to more fun and games soon.

We were so happy happy to see Charlie back to his old self.

After serious emergency surgery he had us all a bit worried but when he recently came to stay he was back to normal and still the cheeky lovable boy that we know and love.

Recently hosted Elvis, Bella & Alvin.
Mum was understandably anxious as Elvis is 18 and quite frail and Alvin has not been left anywhere since he was rescued.

They settled in straight away and I am happy to say I think they enjoyed their holiday with us and we enjoyed the cuddles.

Elvis had to be carried out to play but enjoyed the fresh air and no matter where I put him down he managed to get to the plum tree looking for the fallers!

Alvin and Bella were soon part of the pack and it took no time at all for them to be right at home with us all.

The house is quiet without them .

Wee Archie who moved to Edinburgh last year came to stay for a couple of weeks. We were so happy to see him we miss the little guy.

Had a lovely time playing with the gang and spent a lot of time cuddling to keep me going until his next holiday.

While he was here his friends Big Archie, Charlie and Bertie came to say hi to their old pal.

Come back soon little man.

Kingston recently came to stay and stole a few hearts including mine!

What an adorable bundle of love he is.

Such a chilled little lad permanently smiling and wagging his tail non-stop. Within 5 minutes he had settled in and it was like he had been here forever and he knew when snack time was.

He played with everyone and enjoyed "lap surfing" and snuggling on the sofa after busy days chasing fir cones and racing after Lulu and Perry.

It was lovely to have him here an we will look forward to seeing him again soon.

Bella & Elvis came to stay for a while so that Gwyn and Paul could go to a family wedding.

Gwyn was a bit anxious as she had not left them before and Elvis at 18 was blind and deaf and Gwen thought possibly suffering from a bit of dementia.

Happy to report they both settled in very quickly and not only were they ok but I think they really enjoyed their holiday, happily joining in with the rest of the gang for playtime, walks, and cuddles.

Bella really enjoyed playing with the others and led the pack on walks. Elvis joined us on the walks albeit being carried but he seemed to enjoy it.

After busy days they both snuggled up on the sofa and snored the evenings away.
