Our sweet Joey has returned 😔 Special needs dogs need a committed companion, and unfortunately his potential adopters only gave him 1 week to try to adjust. We know there is a perfect family for him out there! For now, he’s being the perfect office buddy (after barking about nothing for 20 minutes and checking everyone’s trash cans for snacks) 💕🐾

Misfit Spotlight: Scooby!
Scoob is a fun-loving party boy. He would love to be your adventure buddy. His favorite activities are playing catch, hiking, running, and swimming. Scooby can be found wrestling with his doggy friends, lounging in a kiddie pool, or snuggling with his favorite people. He has the best ears we have ever seen! Scooby can (and will!) lick your entire face in one swoop. He’s a giant 10 month old puppy who will probably bowl over younger children (accidentally of course).He’s an absolute sweetheart who loves all people and other dogs. He’s very food motivated and will do anything for a meatball. His party trick? Scooby can hold 3 tennis balls in his mouth at once 😂

Misfit Spotlight: Abby!
Abby is an adorable , mischievous Australian Shepherd mix puppy. She’s a working breed and needs a home where she can run off her energy, preferably with a crazy friend to wrestle with. She would like an active Mom or Dad, and loves car rides, hiking, and chasing balls. She will herd your young children by biting their ankles, so older kids are preferred. Abby is an amazing snuggler and believes her tongue belongs in your mouth too. She’s very food motivated and has not found anything she doesn’t love. Below is this evening’s protest because she did not get any tacos.

Final heartworm injections for Olivia & Oliver today! And a cyst removal for Olivia. These poor pups have been through hell and are finally able to relax. Oliver was so happy to get home to his new Mom & Dad, and Olivia has a sleepover scheduled in a couple weeks. Paws crossed!!

It’s me, a lover of all furry things, trying to be respectful of the creepy crawly things…..

Did you know that Cicadas do not sting or bite because they do not have the necessary mouth parts to do so. They do not spread disease and they are not toxic. They are actually very good for your plants. They are loaded with nitrogen, which feeds into your soil when they pass away. They aerate your lawn to improve water filtration. So just let Nature do her thing. Cicadas are actually just our ROWDY friends who haven’t settled down. 🦟🌿
