Wishing our sweet Buddy a Happy 4th Birthday today!!! He is our velcro dog and our best behaved in our pack. Thank you so much to Leann Saunders and the staff of the Outer Banks SPCA for believing in us and allowing us to give Buddy his forever home with us!! Go out to your local shelter and adopt your best friend. They will be forever grateful to you!!!

Our sweet Buddy is celebrating his 3rd birthday today!! It was actually 2 days ago according to his paperwork at the shelter. We were working on the 7th so we celebrated today!!! He is enjoying his pup cup of Frosty Paws ice cream here and enjoying a relaxing evening with us at home. He did not want to cooperate with his birthday hat for a picture. We would like to send a special thanks to Leann Saunders and the staff of the Outer Banks SPCA for believing in us to give him a forever home!!

Happy Gotcha Day to our sweet boy Buddy!!! One year ago today we finalized the deal and signed the adoption papers at the Outer Banks SPCA to adopt Buddy. We originally had just taken him on a doggy day trip and couldn’t imagine sending him back to the kennel life. We love him so much and he is a real pleasure to be around. Thank you OBX SPCA for believing in us to give Buddy his forever home!!

I met Buddy today. He was rescued by a wonderful family from Virginia and I included his face in one of my latest portraits. (He was adopted from the OBX SPCA a couple of months ago) A smile says it all!!❤️

Buddy The OBX Rescue Dog has now made his official debut on a fine piece of artwork. Kim Arre-Gerber of Animal Laughter Studio was touched by Buddy's rescue story and wanted to include him in her next art release. Here you can see Buddy relaxing in the back of the Jeep with his favorite frog toy. I am the proud owner of print #1 of 100. I can't wait to get it framed and hang it up in my office. Buddy loves it also!!! Thanks Kim!!
