Ok! We don’t post a bunch of work stuff. I figured if it’s what keeps the farm going then it’s relevant. Today is day one of our newest flip. Having the best helpers helps an organization. In this case the best helpers out there are in the picture. Also wanted to let y’all know that no kids were harmed in this picture and they are alive and doing well. Get em outside, play, learn and grow is something we want to think we’ve encouraged. Btw they are our labor slaves and run the whole company 🤣! Get yall a couple it’s awesome!

WHY DOGS LIVE LESS THAN HUMAN.!!

Here's the surprising answer of a 6 year old child.
Being a veterinarian, I had been called to examine a ten-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Belker. The dog's owners, Ron, his wife Lisa, and their little boy Shane, were all very attached to Belker, and they were hoping for a miracle.
I examined Belker and found he was dying of cancer. I told the family we couldn't do anything for Belker, and offered to perform the euthanasia procedure for the old dog in their home.
As we made arrangements, Ron and Lisa told me they thought it would be good for six-year-old Shane to observe the procedure. They felt as though Shane might learn something from the experience.
The next day, I felt the familiar catch in my throat as Belker's family surrounded him. Shane seemed so calm, petting the old dog for the last time, that I wondered if he understood what was going on. Within a few minutes, Belker slipped peacefully away.
The little boy seemed to accept Belker’s transition without any difficulty or confusion. We sat together for a while after Belker's Death, wondering aloud about the sad fact that dogs' lives are shorter than human lives. Shane, who had been listening quietly, piped up, "I know why."
Startled, we all turned to him. What came out of his mouth next stunned me. I'd never heard a more comforting explanation. It has changed the way I try and live.
He said, "People are born so that they can learn how to live a good life — like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?" The six-year-old continued,
"Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don’t have to stay for as long as we do."
Live simply.
Love generously.
Care deeply.
Speak kindly.
Remember, if a dog was the teacher you would learn things like:
• When your loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
• Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
• Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure Ecstasy.
• Take naps.
• Stretch before rising.
• Run, romp, and play daily.
• Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
• Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.
• On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
• On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.
• When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
• Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
• Be faithful.
• Never pretend to be something you're not.
• If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
• When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by, and nuzzle them gently.
That's the secret of happiness that we can learn from a good dog. ❤️

Please don’t comment with negative bs. I’m very aware that he needs to see a doctor. He will be going in the morning.I came to ask if there is anyone that’s dealt with sneezing followed by bloody nose? I sent message earlier to vet source and waiting on response. Tom has started sneezing again and now this time there is a little blood. Anyone have any suggestions or advice? Open to any and all opinions. Thank y’all in advance.

Update on Tom. He’s doing a lot better this morning. We are waiting on call back from vet to see what if anything we need to do.

She’s a K9 school graduate, she’s house trained, she is a fan of dressing up, loves all people I mean really loves people probably loves them more than the furry ones she’s a little particular on which furry ones she becomes friends with but who isn’t particular on their friends?!?!

Some of the people I follow are posting temperatures of-70 and lower. Holy hockey sticks! I’m a wheiny! I’m over here complaining about 2 degrees. Makes me put things into perspective I guess! Put your big boy panties on and get going (said in the mirror)! Y’all stay warm and please please please get these animals somewhere warm. I saw that-10 or so for 30 minutes exposure can cause problems. Let’s do what we got to, to keep ‘‘em warm. Y’all have a great day!

Cal is in northern Colorado y’all!

Freedom, affectionately referred to as “Cal” by his foster parents, is just the best boy! Cal is a fun, playful, snuggly boy who is just loving life. Cal is 55 pounds and around 2 to 3 years old. He loves playing with his foster brother - playing chase, tug-o-war, wrestling, or snuggling while sleeping. Cal walks great on a leash (almost heels by nature!) and is crate and potty trained. He loves to follow his people around the house, “helping with chores”, or snuggling with them on the couch next to the fire. Cal can be a bit nervous around new things but warms up quickly and learns to overcome his fears. Cal has the sweetest, most soulful eyes that will make anyone’s heart absolutely melt! When he is looking for play or snuggles he has the sweetest “talk” he does, it’s impossible to resist! Due to the fact that Cal is still learning to be gentle when playing and can be mouthy (still gentle and we’re working on getting better!) we suggest he goes to a home without small children.
