This little girl is Tootsie Tulip! 🌷🌷🌷

We started working on Tootsie when she was 1 year old. Now she is 2.5 years old.

When tootsie came to our practice, she could not jump because her back legs were weak.
She had chronic gastrointestinal problems. And she had terrible allergies.

It has taken us 1.5 years to unravel All of these health problems, but today Tootsie is a jumping, smiling, healthy girl! We had to do a lot of work up front, but she has her whole life ahead of her, and now she can live without all of these problems.

Holistically unraveling health problems takes time and energy, but it is the path for TRUE healing. 💗🐾💗🐾💗🐾

We get a lot of panicked calls about ticks this time of year.

I myself have vector borne co-infections.

Lyme disease, babesia, bartonella….these infections can wreak havoc on our bodies.

But is it really about the tick and the infection?

I have been to several human doctors for myself regarding these issues I have, and I believe this was a big component of the root cause of my own breast cancer. There are lots of conflicting opinions about this, and no one really knows for sure about any of it.

Here’s my own opinion:

It is more about a person or a pet’s immune system than it is about the tick.

We have lived with ticks and insects for the entire time of our existence.

It is the body’s response to the infection that is the problem, rather than the infection…an autoimmune type of reaction.

Lyme and co-infections are opportunists. They kick us when we are down. When our immune systems are not functioning well, these things have a playground.

Antibiotics are a crutch, a double edged sword. They can potentially drive infections deeper into our bodies, and suppress our most important defense…our own immune systems.

At HOPE Healing for Animals we optimize the most holy grail of health for our patients…the immune system.

This is our pharmacy. No pharmaceuticals. 💗

For the first 10 years of my practice as an allopathic veterinarian, I prescribed pharmaceuticals to almost every patient I saw. I used antibiotics and immunosuppressive drugs all day long.

It is amazing to me how we can treat almost all of the same things using only herbals and supplements.

We limit our antibiotic use to exclusively life threatening infections. And in the past 4.5 years, we have had to prescribe antibiotics 3 times.

Meet this little lady Charlotte. 🥰

Charlotte is 19 years young, and loving life.

She had a small stroke a few weeks ago, but she’s back on her feet thanks to some Chinese herbs and her weekly PEMF treatments. 💗🙏🏼

Meet Zuri girl! She’s a 6 month old super model! 🤩 and a total sweetheart!

Dobermans are sometimes a misunderstood breed, and thankfully Zuris dad knows this. He is looking for care for her in mind, body, and spirit, so he brings her to our practice.

These dogs have lots of confidence and drive and they are very affectionate. The biggest problem for this breed is when owners and trainers try to dominate and control them to accomplish their own human goals. When this happens the dog loses their sense of purpose, and they end up manifesting lots of health problems.

Thankfully for Zuri, she’s having a great start to life and our hope is that she will remain young and truly healthy, for as long as possible.

Well hello little bean spout! 🌱
This cutie pie is named Fig.

Fig is a baby at only 4 months old.

His mom knows that if we do our work up front to support his body and very carefully vaccinate him, he will reap great long term rewards for his health. So, she brought Figgy to our practice.

It’s a tremendous gift for us to have the privilege of helping puppies find TRUE HEALTH early, to set them up for long term wellness. 🌱

Meet this sweet guy Hunter. 🐾🐾

Hunter is 9 years old and has had some pretty serious behavior problems in his life. He had been to a behavioral specialist and was taking 4 different prescriptions when we met him a year ago.

Hunter used to come into our office wearing a cage muzzle, for fear that he could bite someone.

He also had a chronic eye problem called pannus and had been receiving steroid drops in his eyes for years.

From an Eastern medicine perspective, Hunter was dealing with problems with his liver and gall bladder meridians.

We worked to unravel Hunters complex case using Chinese herbs and bioenergetic testing.

Today Hunter is the best version of himself that he has been in years. He was so content in our office that he almost fell asleep. No more cage muzzle for vet visits and much of his eye problem has now been reversed.

And best of all, we were able to take Hunter off of ALL of his pharmaceutical medications!!!

Today Hunters sweet soul was shining through and we were all soooo happy to see his great progress. 💗

Meet this baby Roen! ❤️🐾

Roen came to our practice when she was 6 months old.

She had a chronic intestinal infection, and nothing seemed to be working to resolve it. She is a golden retriever and she weighed a mere 18 pounds. She was significantly underweight and had a small stature. The intestinal infection prevented her from getting the nutrients she needed to grow properly.

We worked to resolve a very thick Biofilm that had been allowing parasites to hide from prior treatments.

Roen responded very quickly! Puppies often do! We saw her yesterday for a recheck and she gained 8 pounds in 2 months! Her infection has resolved. And she’s eating all kinds of things with no problems.

Roen will always be on the smaller size because she missed nutrients during a very important stage of her development. However, we believe she can live a healthy life!

Our bodies, and our pets bodies are MADE to heal. It is up to us to give them the tools.

This little lady celebrates her sweet sixteen on April 1st! 🎉🎂🥳

Leila came to our practice 4 years ago. She had some chronic problems that couldn’t be resolved with allopathic practices. Her parents were looking for a different perspective for her care.

Chinese herbs and diet have given this girl so much relief and good quality of life. She is living her best life in her golden years. 🙏🏼🤗💕

Gussy and I squeezed in a trip to the dog park today just before the snow starts. The calm before the storm.

Gussy grew up on a reservation and he has some fears and anxiety. He has gained so much confidence with the special trips with mom. He loves all of the sniffs and socializing with other dogs.

We are helping him to find true health in mind, body, and spirit. 🐾

Meet this sweet boy named Texas! Texas just celebrated his 9th birthday. 🥳. He is actually a dog, with 9 lives!

2 years ago Texas came to our practice with a severe autoimmune disease that caused his platelets (used for clotting blood) to be dangerously low. He had already been to an internal medicine specialist, and nothing was helping….they talked to Texas’ parents about either removing his spleen or considering euthanasia.

We were able to achieve remission of his autoimmune disease with holistic practices.

Then in September 2023, Texas developed an 8 cm mass called a sarcoma on his shoulder.

We sent Texas to a surgeon, and they took radiographs of his chest and found that it had metastasized to a regional lymph node, and to his lungs. They elected not to do surgery given his poor prognosis.

We talked to Texas’ family about treating his immune system and not worrying about the cancer. We used PEMF, bio energetics, and Chinese herbs, and in December the tumor was gone.

Texas’ family has been extraordinarily diligent with his care, and that makes a great partnership for his healing. Texas has taught all of us a lot about the extraordinary ability of the body to HEAL.

Today Texas is a thriving happy boy!! We are grateful! 🙏🏼❤️

Abby loves getting her treatments with the MagnaWave! Abby is Dr Kristi’s own cat, and she celebrates her 15th birthday in 2 weeks! 🥳. 1.5 years ago we found that she has advanced cardiac disease. Although Abby doesn’t know that because Chinese herbs and MagnaWave keep her active and healthy! 🙏🏼❤️🐾

This scenario comes in to my practice almost every week….

Puppy comes home, puppy gets vaccinations, puppy gets diarrhea, puppy gets antibiotics, puppy gets vaccinations, puppy gets kibble, puppy gets diarrhea, puppy gets antibiotics. Puppy grows a little, puppy has anxiety, puppy starts itching, puppy gets Prozac, puppy gets cytopoint or Apoquel, puppy requires medication to be ok.
Puppy parents pick up meds for puppy every month, puppy gets more vaccinations, puppy gets more meds. It is expensive to own puppy, it is hard to have a puppy.

There is another way….

Let’s stop wrecking puppy. It shouldn’t be this hard to have a puppy.

As a breast cancer survivor, myself, I am all too familiar with the effects of hormone imbalance. It makes sense that our pets would suffer from repercussions of losing their hormones at such a young age.

At HOPE Healing for Animals, we have a passion for learning.
