I'm still holding PAPERS for a handful of prospects I sold over the last year.... or longer...
Buyers often promise to pay their Board Bill, or other debts....
and I let the horse go with a shipper... and then the buyer fails to pay their Bill.
I will hold the papers until the debt is paid.
If you still owe funds..... please settle your debts.... then, I will mail the papers and transfer.

The Best Gift!
The 2023 Breeding season ended yesterday. It has been an exhausting few months. The days have been too long, the sleep too short, the heat too much, the water in short supply, the pressure ... tremendous.... and the "thanks-you"... non existent... except for ONE.
The best gift I got this year was a "Thank You" written on a paper towel, in a semen box returned to me...
I got a simple "Thank you" from a vet tech where I have sent semen repeatedly for the last couple of years.
This simple "Thank you" meant the world to me! It's the only one I got... and I will treasure it.
I don't do this job for the praise. I sure don't do it for the money! I used to do this job... because I loved it. I can't say that anymore. Then, I did this job... because I'm good at it.... Now... I do this job because I'm helping others make their dreams come true.
I DO however want to THANK all the Mare owners who chose our stallions in 2023.....
We will be offering an even more exciting line-up in 2024.
A thank-you can mean the world to someone. When I got this simple Thank You.... when I needed it the most.

RANT about AQHA...
I've been trying to talk to AQHA about 2022 Foal Registrations.... for weeks. I sent them in back in September. I've tried to be patient... but, this is ridiculous...
I've called multiple times..... and Being on hold forever (which has it's limits), or waiting to be called back ... neither are great options, and they don't seem to return calls....
Then they have apparently been on vacation for a couple weeks.....
Finally got the phone to ring today..... spent a big part of the morning on hold..... determine to wait it out.... hoping my phone doesn't go dead, and get to talk to someone..... eventually.....
Then this snooty young female finally picks up....
I asked her about the registrations, transfers, etc. and she asked for my ID number with an attitude.....
Turns out there was a $5 (five) dollar balance on my account (because there had been a price increase I didn't know about) and that ALL my paperwork was being held up until the balance was paid....
I guess the thousands of dollars I've already paid in 2022 wasn't enough payment to get some of the work completed..... and they held up all my registrations and transfers over a $5 balance.
I asked why they didn't let me know of the balance due.... ??
She said (with a big dose of attitude) that there was an EMAIL sent at some point..... and that I should pay my balance if I want them to process my paperwork.

I held in my frustration the best I could... and gave her my card number... and she ran the balance.

She said it would be a few more weeks before my work is complete.

I normally never gripe. We need AQHA .... but, it sure is frustrating that the fees keep going up... yet the quality of service keeps going down.

OK..... Rant over.
And, any of my buyers.... waiting on AQHA Papers, etc.
I'll be in touch as soon as I start getting paperwork back.....

First BABY of the Year...
AND INFO about our FOAL PROGRAMS....

First BABY of the Year!
Not an Equine... but, I'll settle for an adorable Bovine!
We have 4 FOAL PROGRAMS we offer to Customers....

1. Select a Foal In-Utero... (Gender unknown)
1A- Select the Foal and make p ay me nts.... and pick up foal after weaned. This foal is yours whether it's a C**t or Filly. This option is typically more affordable than a Gender Specific contract.
1B- Select a Foal In-Utero.... (C**T Contract)... Make p ay me nts and if the Foal is a C**T.... that C**t is yours, and you p ay him off for the next few months, and pick him up after weaned. If the Foal is a Filly.... then you do not have to get the filly... and all funds p aid can be applied to any other available foal or horse....
1C- Select a Foal In-Utero... (FILLY Contract).... Make p ay me nts and if the Foal is a FILLY.... that Filly is yours, and you p ay her off over teh next few months, and pick her up after weaned. If the Foal is a C**t.... then you do not have to get the c**t... and all funds p aid can be applied to any other available foal or horse....

2. Become a PREFERED BU Y ER- ... In this case.... the customer knows they want a C**t or Filly from our Program... BUT.... they want to wait until they are Born to Decide... But, they don't want to miss out on a great foal...... In this situation... the customer makes monthly pa yme nts toward the Future Foal.... AND... when there is a Foal Born that has not previously been selected..... Any P.B. Customers will be notified of the new foal.... and Gets FIRST Right of Refusal before the Foal is offered to the Public. Funds previously sent act as a Deposit, and the customer has a few more months to p ay balance.
If there are more than one P.B. on the List they will all be notified at the same time... and if interested.... they can contact me....
Foals not chosen by a P.B. will be offered to the public.
Prefered B uye rs would have up to 2 years to select a Foal.

3. Select an A vail able C**t or Filly AFTER BORN. Many Foals will be offered to the Public, and posted on our website. Customers interested in these Foals can select them, and make pa ymen ts through weaning time.
Note- When a customer selects a foal that is already weaned, or a yearling, etc.... a Monthly Plan might be accepted, but the horse remains at the ranch until PIF. Board is Due Monthly during pa yment period.

4. CUSTOM MADE FOALS..... We can custom make a foal for a customer... We use our mares and stallions... to create a Foal with the Breed, Bloodlines and Color Options that best fit the customer. A Deposit is due, the mare is bred, and then the Customer has around 14 months to complete the pur ch ase.

NOTE- Pur chases on a Monthly plan allows Customers to have a several months to complete the s ale.
If selected After Born.... up to 5 months...
If selected Before born... 5 to 13 months.
Is a Custom Made Foal... Deposit, then around 14 months....

In all Cases..... A WRITTEN AGREEMENT protects both Parties.
In ALL Cases... Customer needs to discuss the selection with me by PHONE CALL. I will not offer a foal to someone or create a foal for someone that will not take the time to have a conversation with me by phone. 580-471-4040.
In all cases.... if something went wrong... the customer can apply all funds toward a different unchosen foal or horse.

Foals will be raised at our ranch near Snyder, OK.

We shipped to TWENTY FIVE different States this season!
We OFFICIALLY finished the 2022 Breeding season today. I've been working non-stop for months.... and it's been a great season!
Busy Busy Busy!
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.... Collecting semen, processing semen, Centrifuging, packaging, (skipping lunch, holding my bladder), Transporting a car load of boxes to FedEx.... and eating lunch at 4pm in a parking lot at a fast food place.....
Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Weekends.... Answering the phone, taking orders, confirming shipping addresses, completing FedEx labels, filling out A.I. reports, and filing returned paperwork ......

We are already getting requests for Contracts for the 2023 Season.
We are adding a couple of young stallions to our 2023 Line Up...
Offering a nice Variety of Bloodlines, Breeds, Types, and Colors for 2023. But.... to add a couple young ones.... we must part with a couple others... (this is a tough decision!)
We are also offering some of our current stallions to other programs.
We are also going to do website updates soon...
offering 2022 foals, and 2023 foals.... among many others.
We we so insanely busy this season.... but still managed to breed and settle almost all our broodmares. Thank GOD for Fertile stallions and Fertile mares!
But, due to work load we are going to offer MANY of the broodmares to other programs. I just can't keep up this work load another year.

Well.... A STREAK OF LAW.... is being enrolled into FUTURE FORTUNES.
I am Paying in full now.... so ALL his previous Foals, regardless of age.... can soon be enrolled as Barrel Horses. As soon as FF processes it.... it will be official.
Then, through Dec. 2023 (his First Year in the Program) ALL his previous foals can be enrolled-
Weanlings (same year they were born)= 150
Yearlings = 250
After that... I'm not sure the cost, but it's Cheapest for the Older horses.... if enrolled Now through Dec. 2023.
If I find out more... I'll update the post.
