Samuel, Sweetheart, and Jeff are three pigs living together as a small herd here at Outsiders Farm & Sanctuary located in Bowersville, GA. Samuel and Sweetheart have been for adoption since May with zero applications and Jeff has been for adoptions a little shorter amount of time. All three are learning to live harmoniously and snack time is the only time Samuel likes to be bossy. We are working with them daily to learn manners, gain their trust, and set them up to be wonderful companion pigs for a lucky family. To all our friends and alumni, especially in the Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee areas, please get as prepared as possible for you and your animals as Hurricane Ian is already wreaking havoc in South Florida. This means securing anything outside, making sure you and your animals are safe with enough food, water, and medical supplies if you get flooded in or we lose power, etc. If you have outdoor pigs/animals, secure their shelters and make sure they can get to safety if their area floods. If you're not sure how to prepare for the storm, please send us a PM so we can help guide you. Stay safe and prepare early! ❤️❤️🙏🙏

Nathan was surrendered to our organization when his rescue closed. He came with his two siblings, Matthew and Meghan and their dad Chip. The whole family is looking for a home and eager to make friends over snacks! We have fully vetted everyone: spay/neuter, vaccines, deworming, microchip, and they are ready to join your family!

Tinker is such a fun boy! He's handsome, friendly, and social. He's neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, single and ready to mingle!

Tinker is used to living with a lot of other pigs and chickens and would enjoy a family with animal companions for him. We have many other pig friends you can adopt to go home with Tinker. We are located in Bowersville, GA. Some transport may be available.

Kane is an elderly gentleman with a bit of arthritis looking to find his forever home to enjoy his retirement/senior days. We are the third home that we know of that Kane has had....he deserves a final home to be spoiled and loved. Kane is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and ready to go to a forever home!

Jimmy is such a fun boy! He's handsome, friendly, and social. He's neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, single and ready to mingle! Kind of like the life at the party where everyone is just happy to see Jimmy. Whenever he walks into the room a crowd should cheer: "JIMMMMMMMY!!!!!" he's just that wonderful!

He has had ZERO adoption interest since coming to our adoption program 2 months ago. Isn't that crazy? Jimmy is used to living with a lot of other pigs and chickens and would enjoy a family with animal companions for him. We have many other pig friends you can adopt to go home with Jimmy. Miss Cheerios was adopted on Saturday! She will be spayed on 8/31, recover from surgery for a few days and then head home to her forever family!

Meet Chiru!

Chiru is approximately a year and a half old. She is a spayed Mangalitsa/Kune Kune/Potbelly cross from a "designer" pig breeder who turned into a glorified hoarding case.

We believe she is full grown in her stature but will probably fill out more in her body as she matures. We expect Chiru to weigh around 100-150 pounds when full grown but of course there is no guarantee and her size can be larger or smaller. When adopting Chiru you have to love her no matter what size she is or will be :)

Chiru is sweet. Like any pig, she takes a little bit of time to warm up to strangers, but will quickly become your friend with snacks. Do you know the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street? He is Chiru's spirit animal! She does have a half-brother named Rumple here, and we would love to see them adopted together, but it isn't a requirement. Chiru is a very active pig. She embodies all of the athletic pig traits of her ancestors and loves to run. She will need another pig companion and a good, secured area to roam with lots of enrichment and things to keep her busy.

Two sweet, sweet boys looking for their forever home! Guesstimated age is 3-6 months. They are from a hoarding case we took in. They’ve been neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

The Hartwell Boys are ready for adoption! Rescued from a hoarding situation in June, these boys have been neutered, dewormed, vaccinated, and microchipped. We are looking for their forever homes now!

Kane
13 years old
Neutered Male

Laid back, warms up well once he knows who you are. Has arthritis and would benefit from a home that can continue with his supportive care. He receives a once a day anti-inflammatory with a once a day joint supplement and a twice a day CBD oil and chew regimen. Kane came to the adoption center after he lost his home when his rescue closed. He is said to have been bonded with another pig, Bo (10 years old) but they’ve not interacted too much since their move. It would be nice to see them adopted as a pair so either one goes to a home with a companion they already know, but it isn’t a requirement to the right home.

Sweet and loves belly rubs.
Microchipped, up to date on vaccines and deworming.

Bo lost his home when his rescue closed down. He was said to be bonded with another pig Kane (13 years old) but they’ve not paid each other much attention since being relocated. Kane could be a potentially good second pig for someone to adopt with Bo, but Kane has arthritis and needs daily pain medication (inexpensive) and joint supplements.

Rescued from Animal Control where they had been unclaimed strays picked up roaming a subdivision. Likely dumped but now rescued and ready for their forever home.

They are low energy, laid back piggies. They enjoy each others company over people but have slowly begun to accept a backscratcher and love fruits and veggies.

Ricky is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and up to date on vaccines. Lucy needs to lose weight before she can be safely spayed but is vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped.

They are available for adoption with a spay contract/no breeding contract for Lucy.

Priya was rescued as a pregnant adolescent pig from a “designer” pig breeder. Priya gave birth to her first and only litter of piglets last Fall and has been patiently waiting to find her forever home. All but one of her piglets have been adopted. Pigs do best in pairs and we would love to see Priya Rain and her daughter adopted together if possible but it is not a strict requirement.
