The southern lights (Aurora Australis). Incredibly rare to see these lights in the sky, especially from the tip of Africa. I was extremely lucky to have experienced this and taken photos of it. I was also lucky to get a glow of green along with all the red colours. It didn’t last long and faded soon after taking this photo.

It's been quite a busy time, so a late post. The KPC Pony Rider and Junior Derby held the 22nd to 23rd October results. Ellah Coetzee and her brave pony Howzat in the 80cm classes 🥈 2nd place 2phase 🏅5th place Derby Championships So proud of you Ellah and Howzat!!! This past weekend at Heartland/Hartland Equestrian Park Ellah took her 3 horses Charisma on day 1 had a bit of a off day in the 1m classes, also it is still a new combination for Ellah 1st round had 2x refusals ending in an elimination 2nd round only 4pen. ending 15th out of 41 riders Solar flare in the 1.10m classes had 4pen in 1st round and 2nd round 8pen. Howzat our one in a million pony came through 2nd in their 1st class 🥈 but then all heavens opened and there was a hail storm. So his championsgip class was scratched. Well done Ellah. Still a lot to learn with the 2 new horses, only 3 months in on them. Burlington Stables SA day 2 Ellah Coetzee and Callaho Con Charisma They had a good show condidering their bew partnership. Huge improvement from the previous show 1m A2 1stop 1m 2phase 1 pole, but lovely ridden track It will all come together in good time Immensly proud of Ellah and her horses!!! Thanks to the team behind Ellah supporying helping and guiding Ellah!!! And also looking and caring after the horses!!! Thanks Burlington for horsting once again an incredible show and so well organised and friendly people!

Day 1 at Burlington Stables SA Ellah Coetzee and Solar Flare 1.10m A2 Comp having 2 poles 1.10m 2phase 5th place! Jumping a fantastic round!!! Such a special horse! Looking forward to day 2 with Callaho Con Charisma in the 1m classes!!! Goodluck Ellah

Sprocket in 50cm class, a bit excited in his first jumping class in a very long time. Georgia managed him well!!!!

We also had a play day out Dunblane Equestrian & Equine Hydro Therapy with Körber Equestrian on Monday morning and took Billy for some Derby practice!! It was great fun!

Lorelock Belcanto performing like a champ at Maple Ridge Equestrian Farm 2x 2nd places!!! 1m.
