Nova
Miss Nova had a quick lesson this afternoon on sit, stay, and come.
Very smart pup indeed! Nova has worked and accomplished a lot in 2.5 weeks. She has now learned sit, down, leave it, come, and working on place now. Once she does these very good we will move to staying in those commands for longer time frames.
Nova and Lainey!
Nova and Lainey “puppy Sunny” had fun playing together. Lainey came over for a full groom today. Lainey was puppy “Sunny” the runt of Raine/Knight litter. She’s grown so much and absolutely gorgeous. Nova and Lainey played hard
Play time
During her surrender past owner said she will not play with toys at all…. Of course she plays with toys, you just didn’t take the time to play with her cause she loves all 3 baskets full of toys at our house!
Nova
Little miss Nova is catching on quick. I’ve been working on sit and down since Friday!!! Also absolutely no potty accidents in house or her crate for 2 days!!! All it takes is time, patience, and willingness.
This sweet girl goes to her new family tomorrow. My mommy is so excited to finally be able to get here. She has a long trip tomorrow back to Florida. Prayers that Miss Veil *Cloud* does good for her car ride.
Basic training
*cloud* Veil picked up so fast on the sit command. Both puppies are able to hold the sit for a little bit instead of jumping right back up after their treat.
Basic training
Snow is doing great with his sit command!!!
Grooming
And this is how you tell your deshed shampoo did its thing 😂🤣. It’s snowing at 55 degrees haha. It’s not dog hair it’s Collie glitter 🐾🐶
Crate training
And then there was 2. Cloud and Snow will be staying with us a few more weeks till their families get everything ready for them. Snow has began his basic obedience training for his therapy work. Both Cloud now Veil and Snow are working hard on potty training and crate training. Here’s a little video on how we crate train. The first week we only make the crate a fun space. We stay in the room with them and offer lots of praise and treats. We sometimes feed in the crate. We never won’t the first time being introduced to a crate being put in there by themselves for the whole night or because they did something bad. You never won’t your puppy’s crate to be a bad place. It is their safe space and a place to go and relax when they want to.
Playtime
Such a beautiful day! The puppies love playing outside
Puppies
Playtime after their baths!!! They all go crazy over the toys. I change them out everyday so they get to learn and play with new toys. Also helps them not get bored.

Puppies
The puppies have found their voices.
Vacuum was our sound for the day!
Today’s new sound was the vacuum. Puppies have moved out of their private room and into the main big room in the house. They are definitely getting to learn what it likes to be apart of the family and around other dogs and people. The past 2.5 weeks it’s just been me working with the puppies and Raine. We can’t wait to move them to their big pink later this week and introduce toys!!
Eyes and ears opening
All the puppies eyes are opening and they are starting to hear a little. They are all stumbling around learning to walk now that they can see their surroundings. We will slowly start introducing next week noise therapy. I will introduce them to a new sound everyday till they go home. Their sound for the day is played all day long so they can get used to it. I will also start introducing toys next week.
