FREEZE FRAME. I took Jilly out back tonight and played her favorite game, 'Freeze Frame'. I keep her on a leash back there (wish I were brave enough to trust her off of it, but our road is so insanely busy with fast drivers that I am not willing to risk it). She doesn't seem to mind too much with 15 feet of leeway. The game: We both stand stock still, in unflinching posture, eyes locked. 20 seconds...30 seconds. Then I 'Busta Move' and she goes into hyper drive/warp speed. She runs at the speed of sound and then, 'Freeze Frame'. We repeat this cycle at least 8 times, and I am laughing so hard at this girl, I'm ready to split my sides. ;). I've got to ask Bob to video this!

Boxer nirvana....a romp with buddies at the off leash dog park in the mud, a good soapy shower...and now, a nap

Jilly had an emergency run to the vet after getting into a scuffle with another dog at the dog park. Didn't see injury until next morning, when I glanced at her and did a double take. Had a puncture wound on the inside of lower lid above cheek. Found great vet to patch it up who was reasonable with fees. Will use her from now on. She is better now after a week of antibiotics and anti inflammatory meds. Whew!
