Does your dog rush through doors?
An open door doesn’t grant them free passage. For safety they’re taught to wait for a command to exit. We start training door boundaries at their kennel, progress to exterior home doors, and then finally the car door.
Before Romeo had zero impulse control and no respect for the thresholds. He would rush and push his way out of the door and jump on guests. They used to have him removed from family gatherings because he knocks people over. It was stressful and hard to manage him.
Now he is a safe dog. He is no longer a flight risk and not a bouncing hazard. He gets to participate in family events and they can truly enjoy him. 🥰
When you get to do what you love time flies by so fast. 2023 was an exceptional year full of blessings. No words can describe how grateful I am for each and everyone of you. Thank you all for being a part of this amazing journey! I wish you all a Happy New Year and may 2024 bless you! 🥂
Often many dogs get adopted but are returned within a couple of weeks due to some sort of behavior issue. Our goal today at @bradshawanimalshelter Animal Care Faire was to educate the public how dog training is so crucial to a successful dog adoption. We want to help these dogs to be able to stay in their furever home and have a happily ever after💕
We had a blast at @bradshawanimalshelter Animal Care Faire Event. Thank you for having us and letting us showcase what we do @lorenzosdogtrainingteam . Together we will help keep dogs out of shelters and in safe and happy homes!
