We all had a blast at game day for Madalynn’s 10th birthday! 🥳

Musical stalls, red light green light, Simon says, pass the halter & mother may I!

It made me feel like I was 10 again! We will definitely be doing more of this is the future, so much fun!

Annie is an approximately 6 y/o mustang mare standing just under 14 hands:

Annie is brave, forward & loves to jump! she is still green & requires an experienced rider with an educated hand. She is learning to accept contact, move off the leg & figure out her stride over fences.

Annie has the talent to be an amazing eventer/jumper for an experienced kid/amateur on a budget, or a professional looking for a fun project!

Sound, barefoot, easy keeper, stands well for farrier, ties, crossties, loads, trail rides, UTD on vaccines & recent teeth float.

Dvorak Equestrian has openings for private full/part time training as well as one slot for lessons on our lesson horses!

We are located at Royal Star Equestrian Center center on Tucsons beautiful east side. Various different stalling options, 2 well maintained riding arenas (jumping & dressage), trails around the property, quality hay 3x day, owner provided grain/supplements 1-2x day. Indoor/outdoor wash racks & large tack rooms! Excellent onsite management & a friendly environment!

Xena & Dorcas are a mother/daughter training team with a combined 80plus years of experience!

We are a small hunter/jumper & eventing program with a focus on creating a solid foundation of the basics to create a well rounded horse & rider. While also encouraging our riders to progress & reach their goals! We also believe in the importance of overall horsemanship & focus on all aspects of horse ownership. We work with all horses no matter the breed, age or skill level but specialize in young ottb/warmbloods & ponies!

We attend all the local h/j & eventing horse shows & clinics.

Friday we said a bittersweet goodbye to the one & only Lexi.

There’s definitely been lots of ups & downs with bumps in the road the past 2 1/2 years having her here in Arizona, but life (with horses) never goes as planned.

Overall I am blessed for the time we did have with a wonderful horse, lots of great rides, horseshows & xc schoolings. Extremely kind to each rider who was on her back, never having to worry about any funny business, a confidence boost & fun ride.

12 years ago she came off the track to Stanley Luke farm, now she is officially “back home” to where it all began.

We miss you Lexi aka Lexatron, 3000 & the big miss. Enjoy your next chapter! 🐴🦄

Great weekend at the Freedom Run horse show! A weekend of firsts!

Madalynn’s first time at a hunter/jumper show, her & Morris rocked the cross rails! Taking home some good ribbons!

Not be overshadowed by her little sister who was absolutely adorable in the lead line class, Morris is the best 💕

Rei & Lexi had their first show together, rocking the jumper ring. Champion of the 2’3!

Angela had her first time in the show ring & did great, smooth consistent rounds with her wonderful mare Evie!

A great weekend with a great crowd! So proud of all the horses & riders! 🐴🦄

Earnies canter has come a very long way!

Some days it requires a good gallop, others he starts out calm. He can relax & be straight & listen to my aids without getting under the bit.

Lots of time & patience, cantering long & long in 2 point only on the rail. We are working towards a slower shorter stride & being able to use seat to slow instead of being a driving influence

2023 recap! Some great moments & some sad ones

We bought our first lesson horse in Jaunaury, the wonderful magnificent Beau! Unfortunately 6 months later we had to say goodbye to him due to liver cancer. 💔

I’m February Earnie & Kojak came to live at Royal Star. We also discovered Earnie LOVES XC. He has been to 3 schoolings & one derby since. Kojak won all of his classes at the Freedom Run show in the fall 🥇

Lexi blew out her hoof wall, thanks to Tyson and her special “Jack o lantern shoe” along with lots of rest & many hours of hand walking she has come back! She started a lease with the wonderful Rei who is learning the ropes from Lexi. Annette also won the SAZEA fall derby in the starter division, for their first show back in over a year!

Shizzle had x rays to find his kissing spine progressed, thanks to Dr Jen for injecting his spine, he has since returned to normal work & been to a few xc schoolings.

In August a new lesson horse came into our lives, Morris! We are blessed to find him, very smart boy who knows fully well who is on his back 😂

Also in August I purchased the wonderful Albert! He has gained much needed weight & muscle & hopefully one day will be a lesson horse.

I also learned of the passing of one the most influential horses of my childhood, Sierra. She dumped on my ass more times than any horse probably ever will, but she was so great to me in many other ways.

Thanks to all my wonderful customers & horses (some not mentioned here) that made 2023 a great year!

Ready for 2024!
