The hardest part of sharing your life with a pet is when you have to say goodbye. The emotional process of choosing an aftercare provider can feel like a daunting task during a difficult time. With a combined 22 years of experience assisting the pet owners of Acadiana throughout the aftercare process we wanted to share what could be expected when choosing Pet Passages to take care of your best friend.

There is no question that pets are family members and we recognize that and have modeled our service around the same philosophies that can be found in the the human industry. We care for each pet as if it were our own. They are transported, contained, and prepped with the utmost care and respect, assuring the dignity they deserve throughout their time in our care.
🩵 Transparency 🩵
We believe in providing all of the information about our service to the pet owner to allow for them to choose what is best for their pet. This is why we offer 3 types of cremations. With our Truly Private cremation only ONE pet is present in the cremation chamber at a time, upon completion the pet owner will receive their pet's ashes. We also offer a Semi Private cremation, in other crematories this is also known as an individual, compartment or chambered cremation, during this process there are multiple pets present however they are completely segregated from each other assuring they do not comingle and upon completion the owner will receive their pet's ashes. The final option is our basic/communal cremation, this is for pet owners that do not wish to keep their pet's ashes, however any of our "Capture the Love" memorial addons can be performed prior to a basic/communal cremation.

With return package options starting at $130 (for small pets) it is our goal to make sure everyone has access to our services and no one is forced to give up bringing their pet home. All return packages automatically include the digital printout of both your pet's paw & nose print.
🩵 Peace of Mind 🩵
Our state of the art tracking process and pet parent portal are available to provide updates on your pet's progress as well as access to their digital paw and nose prints. In addition to this we are personally available 24/7 to our clients to answer any questions or address any concerns during the process. We know this is a business based on trust and it is our goal to provide whatever each pet parent needs to feel at ease during this emotional process.
🩵 The Ability to Say Goodbye 🩵
Our private Rainbow Bridge rooms are available to provide pet owners with a peaceful environment to say their last goodbyes. In addition to this we also work with local veterinarians who can provide euthanasia services utilizing our Rainbow Bridge rooms offering a less clinical environment during such an emotional procedure.
