Regardless of this FB page, all new dog and cat groom inquiries MUST be made by calling our office at 815-666-4311 and personally talking about you and your pet's individual needs. We do not book through website or FB. Mobile Grooming is a very personalized, elite and sometimes essential service for pets. When we have an opening in your area, we selectively accept most cats (my specialty) and dogs under 40 pounds that want short trims under 1". After our first appointment, if the pet, groomer and family all mesh well, we prefer setting up a regular appointment every 4-8 weeks.
Special cases certainly exist. Expect any mobile groom to be 2-4 times the expense of a brick & mortar shop. Matted pets may be higher. We occasionally have pets neglected for years. Tell us. We do understand, but sometimes a severe situation can take many hours. Sometimes requiring canceling others, which is unfair to everyone. Working with biting pets that have been turned away and banned from shops need to be planned for behavior desensitization. All bathing, deshedding and haircuts are at the discretion of the groomer deciding on the safer pet care. Our goal is as close to perfect as reasonably possible. Pets are wiggly, sentient animals. Do not lie to a groomer. This is our profession. We need to know any history with other situations, good or bad. No insulting other groomers by name.
