Mary... nothing to say other than enjoy the show 😜
Good Sunday everyone,
If you remember our two pirate girls Anne and Mary have a brother who is fostered at another home. Well, he had an application put in for him, he had a great meet and greet, and now we have heard he will be heading to his forever home very soon!! Congratulations "Calico Jack" on finding your forever family! It was fun, and a pleasure fostering you with your sisters and so happy for your next adventure. Let your new family know you have crazy sisters available if you're not enough for them ☺️
Other news of the day; we had an application for Comet and Galaxy, and did a virtual meet and greet with their potential new mom which went very well. She is also considering two other kitties, so we're just waiting to hear back on which two kitties fit her the best. 🤞
We haven't seen Mr. Hyde since we released him, so guessing he made his way back to where he was calling home before we trapped him. We have a heated outdoor cat house for him, or whoever, and our shed where he was for a month is dry and still has straw bales set up for him as well.
That's all for now. Thanks for following and sharing!
This is Mary telling her brother good luck. (Actually she wants breakfast haha)
Have a great day

Good morning everyone, sorry we didn't get an update posted last Sunday but here we are.
Last time we told you about a nice young lady who was first interested in Frida, but was thinking of getting Nova and Star after we talked. Well she came over for a visit, met Star, and others, but Miss Nova decided to hide under our bed. She did get a peek at Nova for a minute or two, fell in love with Star and decided she definitely wanted to adopt both Nova and Star together. With holidays coming up, and a son with a dog coming to visit for a couple weeks, we gave her the option to adopt them now, or wait until after her son and dog head back home. We think it would be better if she waited as Nova and Star have not been introduced to a dog, and Nova would probably protect Star and herself passionately, to put it nicely. These two will be her first ever kitties, so we don't want any issues starting off. Both of them are awesome kitties, and we know Nova will be more than happy to have her own home again without 10 other cats around. They both are so sweet, and we'll miss them, but time to go!
Now for our outdoor barn kitty Mr Hyde. He has made awesome progress in getting to trust us. The past two weeks Lena has been his caretaker and has started to come out of his "nest" for food, even eating while she is with him. This morning Mark went out with Lena, and wow, what a change! We have some improvements we're going to make in his place, but maybe next week we open the crates up and set him free. Hopefully he has enjoyed all the attention and food and will stick around, it's up to him.
That's about all for now here, but our rescue still has a bunch of kittens we picked up from the NC flooding available for adoption. So please visit savemoarlives.org if you, or anyone you know are looking for a new fluffy family member.
Have a peaceful rest of your week,
M&L
The kitty I trapped last Saturday....his neuter surgery well, but we found out he tested positive for FeLV. He is approximately 4-1/2 years old and weighs over 10 lbs, and in good health, so I decided to not euthanize him, but to set him up in our "shed" and see if I can acclimate him. We are hoping he stays around once we release him so I can monitor his health/condition, keep him well fed with healthy food and fresh water. It would also be nice to have a mouser around. So far he seems to be doing good, just figuring out his new situation. After a few weeks we'll set him loose and hope he sticks around.

Mary says bed time, come snuggle.
Good morning everyone, hoping you all are doing well.
Not much has changed here, we still have 8 kittens, and Nova still available for adoption. All kittens are getting along perfectly, and Nova is an awesome adult.
Mary has become a super cuddly kitty who now sleeps with us every chance she gets. Midday naps, and through the night, she is snuggled up close. Her brother and sister, Jack and Anne are just as awesome, just a bit more adventurous and playful.
Nova's "babies" are now 6 months old, and growing so fast, and let's not forget Frida, about the same age as Nova's babies, who came to us as a single kitten just hours away from being euthanized. She is very feisty, but very affectionate and loves her people to snuggle with. She loves sitting on laps at breakfast time hoping for a tidbit, but she's never gotten food from the table before, but she still holds out hope.
Nova has recently begun to lick at the bathroom faucet, even though there are multiple bowls of fresh water throughout the house, one being in the same bathroom. Nova is so sweet and loving. She deserves a family of her own to love, how about yours?
That's all we have this Sunday. Wishing you all an awesome day!
Thanks for following 💕

Anne is in her happy place, but she'd rather be in a forever home.
