Our sweet Walter has been examined and seen through the eyes of our dear veterinarian Dr Hayley of Conejo Valley Equine .
Walter’s blood test came back that his organs are actually in good shape. He is full of parasites which we are aggressively treating…He is just so malnourished. She guesses his right knee joint was broken at some point in his life and with his age the arthritis gives him pain with every step 😔
He is on a high caloric diet and gets multiple meals a day. He is a gentleman and has sweet spirit to work with.
There was no one, we would trust more with his life and further care, than she.
She’s wise beyond her years and so compassionate towards all of our Donkeys. We’re so grateful to have her.
