Update on our sweet new arrivals … They arrived 4/1 and we are now on Day 5 of acclimating them … They are doing very well socializing, leash training, crate potty training and have all received physicals and their vaccinations. They were very shy at first but as you can see from this video have all warmed up and their inner sweet Vizslas are starting to show. I will post headshots of their beautiful faces soon. They will be with us for a couple more weeks socializing and training before we can know best which homes they would be best suited for.

And then came the waterboarding “first showers” ❤️ 🤣 They threw lots of “stink eye” my way.
The trick to getting them not to try and run out of their baths or be afraid of the water is to make the water very warm - and simultaneously pet them under their mouths (neck / ears) and they calm fairly quickly. It’s important they be desensitized to as many things as possible or they will fear it all.
