๐™ˆ๐™–๐™œ๐™ฃ๐™ช๐™ข ๐™๐™ค๐™˜๐™  ๐™Ž๐™ก๐™ž๐™™๐™š is a 2021 gelding who has made great progress since coming into our barn last October. He is a pretty mover with an awesome stop. He is confident on the flag and is started on cattle. He is quiet to ride down the road. He competed at his first stock horse event this spring, and handled the show like a champ. He even came in 1st in ranch pleasure and reserve in ranch trail.

We are excited to see him continue his career with a new partner. He has a solid foundation and is ready to go.

The CSU show was a highlight for Eric Sheehan & WR Cassies Rey who were Reserve Champions in the Novice Stockhorse Division for the weekend. Congrats, Eric and Rey!

Jim's Background

Jim was born in Glenwood Springs and raised on a ranch in western Colorado. After graduating from Colorado State University in 1973 with a degree in Veterinary Medicine, Jim decided to open and operated his own practice.

Outside of running his busy vet practice, Jim enjoyed training and showing his own horses in his free time. In 1999, Jim decided to sell his Veterinary practice and devote his time to training and showing his horses, primarily reined cow horses. In 2003 he decided to give up his Non Pro status and start training for the public.
