Sunshine and cool breezes should have everyone out playing and exploring. But when the dog door is down so their room can be cleaned, they all wait to get back in. The first item on their inspection tour is to find a toy that has plenty of stuffing that can be used to give their bungalow that lived in feeling!!!

One of the dangers when helping at the bungaliw is being loved to death! Jenny nay be only 18 pounds but she managed to get a 13 y/o pinned on her back!! How puppy kisses is too many!

Major has joined the pack at the Bungalow! His owner went into a care facility with dementia leaving eight dogs in her home. HBHR rescued the two beagles and couldn’t leave this hound behind. He is at least 12 years old and has cataracts. His vision is good enough to learn dog doors and to find one of the best places to stretch out! He is quiet and loving! He will be a wonderful addition to the pack!

Archie is a permanent foster. He is 14 years old and has bad arthritis but that does not stop him from chasing squirrels from Dawn to Dusk! He is just visiting while his fister family are on a trip. Here is a good pic of him in a rare moment of rest!!

10 y/o AnneMarie managed to open the incision on her leg where a small growth was removed. Now she is back from the clinic and sentenced to a week with a donut around her neck! Not sure if you can tell how dirty she and the donut are. Annemarie spent an hour rolling in the dirt in an attempt to get it off!!

Sweet Babs has a large tumor in her abdomen that has already spread to her lungs. This beautiful 10 y/o girl is still eating well and enjoying life with her buddies. She will live out the rest of her life surrounded by love here at the Bungalow😢😢

57.1 this morning! Beebe has lost 30 pounds! That is 5 pounds a month since he arrived. He is lively for an 11 y/o boy and we are hoping that he will find a loving home that will help him get to his ideal weight!

Beebe needs to go in for a weight check. He had gone from 87 down to 64 by last month. He is looking pretty good! How much do you think he lost this last month??
