Finalizing the wiring on these bad boys and will be ready to start setting them up tomorrow for the baby Ctenosaura! I grew tired of using lamp dimmers for my enclosures so I just wire the fixtures into a real dimmer on the side of each enclosure. Makes it so much easier to control the heat when I need to make changes. This also gets rid of a lot of the plugs I would need. This way I only need one plug per enclosure.

1 x 18 level V18 PVC rack with belly heat. *SOLD*
1 x 12 level V35 PVC rack with belly heat *SOLD*
1 x 12 level V70 PVC rack with belly heat. *SOLD*
1 x 6 level ARS9706 rack in like new condition. This is the big rack for boa’s/pythons. *SOLD*

Well, after all that work building it, it was time to have fun setting it up. Got this beast done tonight! This will be for my Ctenosaura Pectinata Pied male and hopefully two females down the line when I can get some babies and grow them up!
I still feel like I’m missing a few branches but I don’t want to crowd the ground too much either! What are your thoughts??

La naïveté des gens me fait capoter des fois. Prenez le temps d’observer et d’analyser les choses avant de croire tout ce que vous vous faites dire. Il y a beaucoup de gens qui vont jouer la carte de « pitié » pour abuser de votre confiance et profiter de votre argent durement gagner. Ne soyez pas aveugle, faites attention.

This is why no matter how often I get fed up and say « F**ck it, I’m getting a PVC enclosure custom made » I always end up just building it myself. Throughout the years I’ve purchased all the necessary tools ( table saw, miter saw, drills, staplers, hole saws, etc) to make this easy on myself. This is a 60 inch wide by 30 inch deep and 72 inch high enclosure. I put a 13 inch wide shelf in there and I’ll be putting a 12x18 dark tile for basking on top of it. This whole enclosure took met 2 hours 30 minutes to build.
The reason why I always think I should by a PVC enclosure is because I absolutely hate painting these guys. I hate painting them so much that paying a premium for PVC sounds good to me lol times have changed! I bought myself a paint gun and a paint booth… painting these will be a breeze and the paint booth will be put to good use for other projects!
Can wait for the booth to be delivered so I can give it a go.
