Friendly, furry, and intelligent are general attributes of many cat breeds, but Maine C**n cats are especially friendly, furry, and intelligent. In fact, they're quite adaptable and seem to get along with everyone (kids, dogs, and other cats included). They thrive in families with children and othe

r pets, even dogs. Additionally, they are known to be very tolerant and can easily adapt to the needs of children. Maine C***s have a loyalty and special bond to their family, but do not need to be constantly supervised
An average Main c**n cat could live to be anywhere between 10-15 years old. Compare that to Selkirk Rex cats which also live to be 10-15 years ...

I'm always asked if our kittens will do well around dogs or other pets...
The answer is yes! 🥰
They are all very well socialized around kids, other cats, and our dog! In fact, they always seem to love our dog and end up becoming his best friend!
It's very important to instill this from a very young age so they adapt quickly to any type of home!
