At The English Toy Terrier Black & Tan Club Show our new kids made their debut!

Nasabe Devils Brew (Aurora) 1st in Novice Bitch
Nasabe Special Brew In Rahima (Brewster) 1st Minor Puppy Dog 1st Novice Dog!
Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW (Lulu) 1st Open Bitch BCC and BOS!

Reflecting on a super hectic start to the end of July/ start of August!
I couldn’t be more proud of our dog’s achievements

Starting off with Leeds Ch Show and Tunbridge Wells Open Show

At Leeds under breed judge Mr K Baldwin

Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW was awarded 1st OB and the RBCC!
Her Dam Ch Witchstone Minnehaha VW 1st VB BVIB and VG3 under Mrs S Marshall

At Tunbridge Wells the following day
Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW was awarded BOB under Maz Stokes and Later TG2 under Ken Bartlett she also won 1st in the Ch Stakes under Jennifer Millard

Next up was Paignton Ch Show
Under The World Renowned Frank Kane
Where Ch Witchstone Minnehaha VW was awarded 1st VB and her 21st CC and BOB!
Minnie was later Shortlisted in a super Toy Group under Sue Smith we then rushed into the Veteran Group where Minnie pulled out all stops to take the top spot VG1 under Ernie Paterson

We then returned on Sunday for the BVIS final where Minnie went onto win RBVIS behind the stunning Cocker Spaniel!!

Following on from Paignton next up was the Joint double open shows of Wealdstone & Northolt Canine Society and Bournemouth

Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW was Awarded BOB and Later TG1 under Klaus Arrowsmith-Vorderstrasse and in a super BIS line up Lulu took it to the top under BIS Judge Howard Ogden Griffons to win BIS!

Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Also a winner on the day won VG1 under Neil Hood and Later RBVIS under Howard Ogden!

At the 2nd open show
Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW was once again awarded BOB under Patsy Hollings and Later TG3 under Keith Baldwin
Ch Witchstone Minnehaha VW also continued her fine form and won VG1 under Keith Baldwin!

Next up was the main Bournemouth Ch Show

Under Toy Specialist Tony Allcock
Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW was awarded her 8CC and BOB and later shortlisted in a super toy group under Vanessa Wegmann
Ch Witchstone Minnehaha VW was BVIB and later won the VG1 under Jacqueline Ward !

Last up on the list is Welsh KC Ch Show!

It was all about Lulus half sister the ever beautiful
Nasabe It’s On The Cards for Boimans JW (Aster)
Who was awarded 1st in a big LB class and later awarded her 2nd CC and BOS!
Aster is out of our 1st home bred Champion Nasabe Lily Marlene and I cannot thank Tim and Jan Harman for looking after her so well and of course slowing me to handle our little Gem!😍

We cannot thank all the Judges enough who have appreciated our dogs over the last hectic few weeks they’re now having a well deserved break as I set my sights on my judging appointment at Driffield☺️

🏵️Brilliant Boston🏵️

A lovely two days spent in great company at back to back Boston shows!

Wednesday Kick started what turned to to be a fabulous two days for Minnie and Her family!

Lulu - Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW
At her first attempt qualified for the Junior Warrant Semi Final from an entry of 64 dogs all present!

Lulu - later won best of breed in ETTs and was later awarded a lovely group 2 in a super toy group!

Marvellous Minnie - Ch Witchstone Minnehaha
Won the Toy Veteran Group and Later strutted her stuff to win Best Veteran In Show!

On Thursday it was all Marvellous Minnehaha
Where she Won her 19th CC from the Veteran Class and topped it off with Best Of Breed and Best Veteran in Breed! Minnie later took group 2 in a super veteran group!!

Aster Nasabe It’s On The Cards For Boimans (1CC 1BOB) Nailed 1st her limit class!

Super proud to see Minnie’s Granddaughter Win the RCC , Best Puppy in Breed , Puppy Group 4 and Minnie’s Grandson Best Puppy dog plus another Minnie Granddaughter Best Special Beginner in Breed and Group 4!

Minnie - Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won BVIB

I am certain this will not be for long but wow am I beaming with this achievement!
It’s early days in the Our Dogs rankings but I’m ever so proud to see in Print up until the end of May so far we currently hold places in 3 leaderboards!!

The 2024 show season is certainly in full flow and I’m sat here now reflecting on two super successful Weekends showing for our Mother Daughter Duo!

Southern Counties
Was all about that Girl! The Marvellous Ch Witchstone Minnehaha!
1st in her Veteran Class RBCC and BVIB!
Her Daughter Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW
2nd in Open and 1st in a quality Open stakes!

Minnie later showed her heart out to win the Toy Veteran Group in strong competition!

We returned on Sunday where she once again showed to her hearts content and although unplaced in BVIS we couldn’t be more proud of this very rare English Toy Terrier B&T Achievement!

It was great to have the support and company of Charlotte Roskell who also won the Toy Puppy Group on the same day with her ETT a Ch Nasabe Don’t Tell Him son🥳

Possibly the 1st time ETTs have won 2 groups at the same show on the same day?

Moving on to our latest trip to Three Counties championship show
This time it was all about That young gun!
Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW who at only 21months took her 6th CC and 5th Best of Breed in strong competition!
Lulu later won a quality Open stakes too.

Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha won Veteran Bitch and BVB!
Minnie later won a nice Veteran Stakes too.

Aster Nasabe It’s On The Cards For Boimans (1CC 1BOB) came out for a play and was also placed first in a quality special yearling stakes!

Catching up on some great Nasabe Success!

A fabulous weekend away last weekend in Scotland with Debbie and the dogs for the SKC Double Show!

Lulu - Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW continued her winning ways and Won her 4th CC and 3rd BOB!
Her Dam Minnie - Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won another Veteran Class and later declared BVIB and won a nice Veteran Group 3 at the May Show.

At the October Show we only had Lulu - Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW entered as there was no Veteran class for me to split the girls up!
Lulu won another Nice open class and later was awarded BB and BOS!

A fabulous day at Bath battling all types of weather😂

Our Recently crowned Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW Won the BCC (her 5th) and BOB her 4th CC in a row !

Her Dam Marvellous Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won another Veteran class and was declared BVIB later in the day Minnie took a great Group 4 in strong competition!

In the second half of the day we held our new Club Championship Show!

This Time Minnie Ch Witchstone Minnehaha turned the tables on her daughter winning a beautiful Open and Veteran and later the BCC (Her 18th) RBIS & BVIS!! Superbly handled by Andy Leonard who she still loves very much!!

🌟👑🌟 NEW UK CHAMPION🌟👑🌟

Yesterday at The National Dog Show Lulu won her third and crowning CC with Best of Breed and can be known as

🌟Ch Nasabe Play The Game JW🌟
(Subject to KC approval)

Since the beginning of the 2024 Show season Lulu has been unbeaten in her breed classes and Won 3 CCs from just 5 Shows!

I’d like to give my heartfelt thanks to all the judges below for seeing the great qualities in Lulu that i did when i picked her as day old puppy 😍

Vanessa Wegmann for awarding her first CC at Manchester. Lee Cox awarding her second with Best of Breed at Welks, and National judge Jenny Miller for awarding her the all important Crowing CC 👑 with best of breed.
And later a quality shortlist in the Toy Group under Breed Specialist Richard Haynes .

This little girl has had my heart from day 1 and been an absolute dream to have around the house and to campaign to her title we almost definitely have that bond like no other Lulu is truly a heart dog!

Finally , a thank you must go to the clever breeders behind her pedigree and of course Nick Witchstone Gourley and Andy Leonard for still blessing us with the chance to own “Marvellous Minnehaha” and Katherine Jane Williams for allowing us to use the ever successful Dewi!

Not Forgetting the Queen herself Ch Witchstone Minnehaha also continued her winning ways in her Veteran Classes winning Veteran Bitch and Later Best Veteran In Breed Minnie Later Won a lovely Veteran Group 3 in strong competition Under Ann Ingram .

5 years ago Ch Witchstone Minnehaha won the Bitch CC at West of England Ladies Kennel (Welks).

Yesterday her daughter Nasabe Play The Game JW (Sharex Dragon Prince X Ch Witchstone Minnehaha) Won the Bitch CC (Her 2nd!)and Best Of Breed

Also Interestingly enough Marvellous Ch Witchstone Minnehaha Won Best Veteran In Breed herself

And a Minnehaha Grandson won the Dog CC and Best Puppy In Breed and a Minnehaha Granddaughter Bitch RCC and Best Puppy Bitch!

Minnie “The Marvellous Minnehaha” Ch Witchstone Minnehaha shone and won her Veteran Class and won BVIB and Later was awarded Reserve Best Veteran In Show! This also Qualifies Minnie for the Artemis Veteran of the year 2025!

CRUFTS 2024 BEST OF BREED ENGLISH TOY TERRIER B&T FROM RECORD ENTRY!

CHAMPION NASABE DON’T TELL HIM.

There is no doubting in anyone’s mind that as a breeder or exhibitor Best of Breed at Crufts is always the dream and this was no doubt the same for me!

When Pikes owner Andy Leonard honoured my dream to handle Pike once again on the green carpet I just couldn’t wait for the day to come!

Pike and I have a special bond and always have since he was a puppy in my hands all through to date. So showing Pike at Crufts was a dream come true.

Pike and I lined up in a star studded Open class of 11 including 7 UK champions and 2 multi champions. He completely showed his socks off and went onto win his class. He later excelled in the challenge to win the Dog Challenge Certificate (His 4th). It was safe to say my face was a picture and having co breeder Hazel there to witness it was even more special.

Pike later took on his Kennel mate Ch Witchstone Cheyenne Falls for BOB and after pushing each other all the way Pike was declared Best Of Breed! A real dream come true!

Pike and I later entered onto the big stage and he showed beautifully and held it all together for the cameras. Pike added to the day by being shortlisted in the Toy Group which was the icing on the cake for me! I later found out he was the 1st English Toy Terrier shortlisted in a Crufts Toy Group since 2019 when his mother won Best of Breed and is also the 1st male English Toy Terrier B&T to win Best of Breed since 2014!!

My sincere thanks goes out to the greatest mentors ever!! Andy Leonard and Nick Witchstone Gourley for all the help and guidance they have given me over the years. I am forever grateful for all you do.

What a simply fabulous way to start the year!

The Nasabe Team Did the ‘Double’ in the Bitch Challenge with Nasabe Play The Game JW (Lulu) Slamming her first CC and BOS!Adding to her little tally of RCCs as a puppy!
Her Dam Ch Witchstone Minnehaha (Minnie) Won her first ever Veteran Class and picked up the RCC behind her daughter and eventually finished up BVIB many thanks to Nick Witchstone Gourley for handling Min Min in the challenge she certainly enjoyed her time with her former Dad!! The Girls also picked up some good placings in their stakes classes Minnie 4th in Veteran Stakes and Lulu 3rd in Junior Stakes.

You know what they time say goes fast when you’re having fun!!

Nothing less can be said for the fun me and this girl has had in the last few years and I could not be more prouder to celebrate her 7th!!!! Birthday today officially a Veteran!

Minnie is a true heart dog and Hazel , Colin and I cannot thank Nick and Andy enough for giving us the opportunity to welcome Minnie into our lives she has been an absolute joy in and out of the show ring and in the whelping box too she’s whelped 2 CC winners 1 now a champion 2 Championship puppy group winners too we look forward to seeing how Minnie’s offspring progress in the ring this year and hopefully for many more we hope they can follow in her footsteps as Minnie has quite the record herself as many know despite having a rather large break from the ring to allow new kennel mates to break onto the scene she has still made a selection of appearances over the last two years and has certainly booster her tally of CCs there really isn’t much Minnie hasn’t done in the show ring CH Witchstone Minnehaha ,Pup of the Year Finalist,Puppy Group Winner,Junior Group Winner ,Toy Group Winner ,Crufts BOB winner ,Winner of 17 CCs
And also an ETT Club 'Best in Show winner.!

We really can’t thank everyone who’s made the Minnie dream happen and to all those judges who have awarded so many top honours we really do appreciate her in every way so with that we wish Minnie all the best in her veteran years and we hope you will too we cannot wait for what the future still holds for this special girl! 🥳
