NHC will not be shipping during the holiday season! Any snakes purchased between now and January 13th will be held free of charge. For those who are local, we do offer a pick up option within a reasonable distance.
Every year I stop shipping from about mid-November to the second week of January, temperature permitting. Why? Peak season means companies are handling higher package volumes, with seasonal workers and longer working hours. There is a higher chance of shipments being damaged, mishandled, delayed, lost, stolen, and exposed to dangerous temperatures. Personally, I'd prefer not to take those risks. Not everyone is as overly cautious as me, which is totally okay. I'm fine with losing a sale, but I'd be heartbroken if I lost one of my snakes.
