Our 12 year old pitbull mix suffers from hip arthritis, skin issues, and a large bald spot on the top of his head and directly above his tail on his back. We were able to address the skin breakouts and arthritis with a home cooked diet and various supplements. What we were not able to address was his hair loss. His hair loss persisted despite diagnosing and addressing his hypothyroidism. Even with his replacement thyroid medicine he still had his bald spots and very coarse coat. We decided to try DogtorRx after having used Humanofort previously and experiencing the benefits of the product.
In less than three weeks he has REGROWN his two bald spots and his coat is softer than it has EVER been. We could not be happier and look forward to seeing what long term supplementation of DogtorRx produces! Thank you!

Acute toxicity of standardized extract from fertilized chicken eggs SECO
- conclusion – product without toxicity.
Chronic toxicity of SECO
A two-year study was conducted on aged rats exposed to a diet containing 1/64 from maximum
tolerated dose. The blood chemistry and hematology at sacrifice showed that test and control
animals were similar and within normal limits (groups of 100 rats equally divided by s*x) were maintained on the appropriate diets containing maltol. Ophthalic examinations of the high and control groups performed at mounths 12, 16 and 24 showed no compound-related eye lasions. Blood chemestry and hematology at sacrifice showed that test and control tissues and organs showed no compound-related lesions, nor was there any indication that maltol had an effect upon tumor incidence. The oxidative stress parameters showed a significant difference between the treated and the control groups. The survival of treated group was 16% bigger on the test group comparing to the control group.
At autopsy, the relative organs/body weight ratio was similar for test and control animals with the exception of adrenal glands and te**es weight of males, which were significantly bigger than controls. Histological examination of tissues and organs did not show any compound-related lesions.

It's extremely important for dog owners to educate themselves about prevention of elevated cortisol levels in their dog's bloodstream and to realize that cortisol production in dogs can be regulated and managed. Management of cortisol levels results in reduced stress, longer life and an enhanced quality of life for the dog. There is both anecdotal and scientific evidence that seems to indicate that natural agents contained in a supplement named "DOGtorRx" may help regulate the production of cortisol and naturally alleviate several common dog diseases. EFFECT OF OLIGOPEPTIDE ON PRIMARY EPITHELIAL CELL AND FIBROBLAST CULTURE DERIVED FROM DOG SKIN BIOPSY
The results of our experiment can be summarized with the following statements.
(1) Oligopeptide at 0.01% concentration enhances the proliferation of epithelial and fibroblast-like cells in primary cell culture derived from dog skin.
(2) In the presence of Oligopeptide stratified epithelial cell colonies are formed in a higher amount.
(3) These effects suggest that the re-epithelization of dog skin can be stimulated by the addition of Oligopeptide
(4) Our findings show that the stimulatory effect of Oligopeptide may - in part - be due to enhanced activation of growth factor receptors (EGFR) or by up-regulation of epithelial growth factor expression.
Enhanced growth rate of epithelial and fibroblast cells play an important role in wound healing. In addition, regulation in stratification may be helpful in dermatological conditions where keratinization defects are present. These effects of Oligopeptide might be beneficial in a wide range of veterinary dermatological events, like seborrhoea, keratinization disorders, dermatitis, mechanical and burned wounds, postoperative incision healing or autoimmune diseases.
