The mustang go to Blackfoot tonight. Come see all of them. This year's mustang are incredible and very well trained.
Gypsy has the sweetest personality and loves attention. She has made incredible progress and ready to make an amazing horse to her new family!

Our last week with gypsy. Eryn was figuring out her freestyle demonstration today. Gypsy has really learned to trust eryn. It definitely took a while but they got there. Can't believe she will be going to her forever home Saturday

Before the fair and all the craziness I took Gypsy to my aunts house with my sisters bucket calf and a lamb. She experienced a lot of different things, noises, and more people. there were sheep and steers being clipped with a ton of kids running around. She handled the whole thing like a champ. During the 2 hours standing she pawed a little bit but stood still very well.
I was very proud of her!!

We started off today with practicing a little showmanship. We walked over the obstacles and she handled those like a champ. She smells everything and tries to eat it. She wasn't scared of the garbage bag and we loaded in the trailer again.

First time standing tied! she only pulled back once but besides that she stood very good. while she was tied I was getting her used to the spray bottle and trying to tame her crazy mane.

After a little time off we got back to work! Today we adventured out over some obstacles and she loaded in the trailer very well.

We have been working on giving to pressure. It's been a slow working progress but she has been doing very well. She is very respectful of personal space!!

Gypsy let me fully brush her mane out. she doesn't care about her ears being touched. she is a little shy on her right side so we've been working more on that side to get her used to it. I sat on the fences to get her used to things being taller than her. she is doing amazing!!

Gypsy has made huge progress this week! The last 3 weeks have been so hit and miss with eryn being so busy and gone so much but they are making up for it now. Gypsy is giving to pressure very nicely. Eryn was able to change halters to one with a longer lunge line. She brushed her today and got the big hair clumps off. And she was walking around with some jackets ok her back.

the tag is off!! she is no longer 5726!! I can pet all the way back to her hip both sides. she does get a little nervous when other people walk near us in the pen.

After about 2 weeks of hardly being able to touch Gypsy, we decided to just get the halter on without roping. We made a redneck chute and she calmly went in. Halter is on!

Since I was gone for a week we did double today.
I introduced lunging today and Gypsy picked that up very quick. Later, I just sat in the pen getting her more used to me. I have not been able to get a halter on yet but I have been able to pet her on the face!
Loving the progress and the quick learning.

With quivering bottom lip eryn made it through the auction. She stayed composed to get a surprise at the end (she didn't know who ended up with Indy). Uncle Jake bought her. So eryn can visit her all the time! Jaylie has already staked claim on her. Big thanks to Jake and Amanda!
