2023 AKC Meet The Breeds in Columbus, Ohio was a smashing success! What a great turn out for Belgians!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to help represent the breed. We got to meet so many wonderful people and learn so much about other breeds as well.

Thank you to everyone who came by to say hi! We loved getting to meet so many people interested in Belgian sheepdogs.

There is SO MUCH that goes into breeding dogs. Much more time, planning, and care than people think. Though we have not had our first litter yet, we have spend HUNDREDS of hours in education and preparation for this. Not to mention THOUSANDS of dollars between education, titling, health testing, whelping prep, whelping supplies, and so much more. With more to come!

But, it is all worth it in the end to know that, with each litter, we can further improve the breed and contribute to it's preservation. We are so happy to be a part of something so great, and wouldn't have it any other way

Guess what we got!!

We had quite the adventure the other day out on the water!

Turns out, two dogs on a canoe is not the best idea... Both girls stood up and leaned to the right at the EXACT same time and we just tipped right over... 😂 but it was a really sunny and warm day so maybe they just wanted to take a swim? Lol.

(Everyone, dogs included, wore life jackets)

We still had fun though! ..... but we will probably stick to the paddleboards from now on 💚

Ari did a Agility try it WAG! Festival hopefully she will be starting Agility this fall if everything goes to plan. Always been a goal of ours but things didn't fall together just right. 💙

It is official!!

After completing her eye testing this morning, Ari’s health testing has all come back PERFECT! We couldn’t be more excited as this was the last piece we needed before obtaining her CHIC # and confirms for us that Ari is able to be bred on her next heat cycle.

Enough can never be said about this girl! She is a beautiful example of a Belgian Groenendael. Confident, eager to please, loyal, devoted. Ari is exactly the type of dog that we are proud to have at the foundation of Druid House.

Provided we receive good news at her ACVO Eye Examination, Ari will be bred later this year to the wonderful stud "Oz" UCH Laralee's Off 2C The Wizard BCAT TKI VHMA over at Ozma Belgians. We couldn't be more excited for this pairing! For more information, feel free to message our page.
