Well we got a call this morning from a friend who shot this deer the evening before and lost blood. They asked if we were willing to give it a try, so Cleo and I loaded up and headed out. after crossing a power line, down what felt like a mountain and through a creek, there he was. 12 hour old trail, 500+ yards, 15min later, to bad the coyotes got to it over night but recovery was a success.
