PEDRO. Pedro is such a smart dog. He sensed kindness and limbed towards a security guard who readily rescued him into his porch. We were asked to call for medical help.

This is PEDRO today. He’s healing nicely and will soon be ready to be rehomed. Look at those bright eyes shining with intelligence. Pedro is alert, bright and will be an excellent fit for a family looking for a loyal companion.

We now conduct ECA curriculum on Animal Welfare and Animal Kindness in Borneo International School and Tunku Putra-Help 🐶🐶❤️

HASS Ex-Co Members Edwina and Priscilla head our Edu-Outreach wing. Priscilla is a pharmacist and certified Zumba instructor and Edwina is a Jazzercise instructor and an educator at Acres Spore and Zoo Negara. Both are fitness enthusiasts and teachers of kindness to animals ❤️🐶🌈

DYLAN. Rescued from a monsoon drain, this old fella has been with us since then. He’s a deaf and blind senior dog. And this is how we help Dylan find his way back to the kennel daily following the sound of a squeaky toy.

We have quite a few senior dogs, chief resident Sumo is 12, GG a Rottweiler old gurl, Bobby, another rescue who was tied to an outside fence for days on end, 2 girls with defect limbs, Noelle and Naomi and one beautiful brown boy Rumie with amber eyes who has seizures. So yes…we foster out of love for defenceless dogs found in dire situations who can’t fend for themselves.

This is the colour of L.O.V.E. 🌈

🌥️⛅️🌤️ A first day of promising sunshine and hopefully less firecrackers. Our resident Hass doggies are out to play.

Daisy gets a dose of her eye meds while the rest are on the usual roam about. We hold prayerful thoughts for the strays out there with fear of bad men and 💥crackers and also pets and other animals trying to survive the floods elsewhere🙏🏼

Day 1 CNY. We received a call from a security staff of a mall that a wounded dog hobbled to his gate to ask for help. Pedro, as he was named, was in pain with a deep tissue wound.

After verifying the status of his declared employment with the mall, the wounded dog was picked up by the vet for treatment.

The wound is raw and deep. It required immediate attention before maggot infestation cause further tissue damage and infection. Pus was flushed out. The gaping hole was stitched up. There was muscle tear but the bone is intact.

Pedro will be hospitalised for a few days to monitor for any bone infection. The security staff Martin is a kind soul. Pedro limped through the downpour making his way to Martin’s gate his eyes pleading for help. What a clever dog. Pedro will make a good companion. He has displayed trust to receive unexpected kindness from strangers.

Thank you Martin for your kindness to a helpless wounded stray.

After so many recent incidents on cruelty and abandonment, some humanity is restored today.

The Year of the 🐍Snake promises transformation, fresh wisdom and new beginnings. As the snake sheds its skin, it symbolizes letting go of old habits, shedding past burdens, second chances and better outcomes.

The snake, mysterious and sensual mesmerises with its ability to captivate, also promises a year and time for us to evolve, make important life changes, refine goals, fresh opportunities to navigate situations with more diplomacy and grace.

The ⛈️pissy weather is optimistically an indication of drenching us with outpouring of blessings priming us to get ready, get set, GO💥🏮🍊😂

Specials for our puppies and senior dogs.
Besides our regular turmeric coconut oil nasi byrani for our doggos, puppies and senior dogs get yoghurt, extra supplements, fish oil, reishi powder, probiotics etc etc.
