This dog was a victim of Typhoon Tino in Murcia. We don’t know who her owner is. After the typhoon, she was found taking a shelter in a damaged house, broken too, just like her. She stayed there quietly, day after day, until one day she simply couldn’t stand up anymore.
She was likely starving. Severely dehydrated. Too weak to move.
A concerned citizen saw her and tried to help, giving her water with electrolytes. Everyone thought the worst. A hole was even dug, a grave, so she could be buried when she passed.
And then something heartbreaking happened.
Today, this dog crawled… to her own grave.
But that’s where we drew the line.
We couldn’t let her story end like that. We traveled today from Bacolod to Murcia to get her. When we saw her, there was still a spark in her eyes. She was alive. Still fighting. Still hoping.
She is now at the clinic, undergoing tests. We are waiting for the results and praying hard. But we are also being honest. We are drowning in vet bills. We already have more than ₱30,000 in expenses, and more will come as we try to save him.
We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for help.
Any amount.
Your piso can mean hydration. Warmth. Medicine.
Your piso can mean a second chance.
Your piso can mean hope.
She crawled toward what she thought was the end.
We want to show her it’s actually the beginning.

Note: Tina Murcia
PS We already coordinated with PNP Murcia, and they will be conducting an investigation tomorrow in the area where Tina was rescued. We really appreciate the authorities and individuals who are willing to work with animal welfare groups to make sure cases like this are properly looked into and don’t get ignored. Thank you for taking this seriously and for being open to helping protect animals.
