We have had many calls lately and in particular for black mambas in our area 😐 these are highly venomous snakes with neurotoxic venom ⚠️ we would just like to encourage everyone to send your photos to us on whatsapp we will assist in identifying the snake as well as we identify here on Facebook too.

We want to protect you and our snakes in our beautiful KZN☀️ , help us do that by not killing the snake and instead calling us for assistance.
Remember to keep a safe distance and eye on the snake unless in a room. If the snake is in a room , close all doors and windows and wait till we arrive. 🐍 please also keep your loved pets away so they do not get injured.

A few days ago we had a call out , the dog was bitten by a green mamba which is highly venomous ⚠️
Once we were able to get a hold of the vet and question about the availability of antivenom and for them to return a call back it was 25 minutes since the bite. 📞 She didnt make it💔
The snake unfortunately was very injured and did not make it either due to internal bleeding and a broken spine.

This case was very close to home for us as we know this dog personally. This family did the right thing, they called us out for the snake and Ernst noticed she had symptoms of being bitten and jumped into action to help.💚

Remember to always call a snake catcher out for snakes or even identify the snakes . Always try contain your pets in the home until you have the snake removed.

We have now had a full week of rescuing juvenile snakes (baby snakes) 🐍 we just want to warn the public that if they are unsure please do not touch the snake. We have had a few cases where the client thought it was harmless but infact was highly venomous. This is just one of the snakes we rescued and it's a juvenile forest cobra ( highly venomous ⚠️)

We have great news for all our north coast residents in kzn😲

Venom city has decided to implement the opportunity for you as a client to use a 12 month agreement. We will provide reptile rescue services for a fraction of the cost for a monthly fee.

We decided to do this finances in these times are tough and the rate will be more affordable to our clients.

Each area will have a different monthly fee. If you are interested inbox us for pricing 📨

Biggest black mamba we have ever rescued !🐍(Dendroaspis polylepis) - highly venomous neurotoxic venom⚠️
This beauty had been troubling this client for a while now but unfortunately previously they didnt keep and eye on the snake and it managed to get away. However a few days ago we got a frantic call from them saying the snake is in between two walls 😲 we rushed out and although this wasnt an easy rescue Ernst pulled it off again. We weighted the snake and it is over 6kgs! You can see above the snake is over 6 men long.

Today we had an amazing call out , a bit difficult but nothing our team isnt used to. We have been getting several black mamba call outs within the last few days. Please remember to not harm them as you are putting yourself in danger , rather call us out on 082 211 3814. We want to save your life and the snakes life.🐍

Late last night we had a call out for this African rock python 🐍 ( non- venomous). It is always lovely for us to be able to rescue these snakes.
These snakes are one of a kind in south Africa and actually listed as vulnerable on the south African red data book 💚🐍 if you ever come across this snake please do not harm them. Rather call us on 0822113814.

Today we got a call out for a big snake who had made himself comfortable in the shed for a few weeks now. The family called us out and after a long time of unpacking and searching in the shed we came across this beautiful snake. A big black mamba about 2.3 meters long 🐍💚

These are beautiful snakes , which are harmless. They have a almost red brick colour. They can get up to 1.5meters in length.

We have some hatchlings 🥳🐍💚
This is a beautiful olive grass snake or otherwise known as a whip snake (Psammophis mossambicus) , mildly venomous ⚠️.
These are super fast moving snakes and get up to a length of 1.8 meters.

Today we got a lovely call out, for a big grey snake in a tree. As we arrived we discovered a beautiful female boomslang 🐍 ( highly venomous- haemotoxic venom ⚠️)
She is 1.5 meters in length. Rescues in trees are tricky but it went smoothly and the residents are grateful for the snake being removed.

Please remember: when you see a snake, call a snake catcher. Dont panic and try keep and eye on the snake from a safe distance till the snake catcher arrives. Call us for any help we are operating 24/7.💚🐍

On my way to gym I reseaved the call. They said it was a green snake about 1m long. That can be anything so I went over to go see what it was. 🐍

Late last night we got a call out for a big snake behind a fridge 🐍 they couldnt give us a good description besides huge 😂💚
When we arrived we discovered a beautiful forest cobra ( highly venomous ⚠️ neurotoxic venom)
She was safely rescued and taken away so the family could continue with their midnight snacking 💚

The snakes have really been out lately , we urge people of KZN to be vigilant and call us if you need assistance.
Please never pick up a snake you cannot identify and do not attempt to hurt it.🐍 help conserve nature for future generations 💚

On new years eve, we received a call out for a big green snake. The snake had first been noticed when a fruit bat had dropped dead out of a tree. Residents of a caravan park called us out to come assist. After much searching we rescued this beautiful Male green mamba 🐍💚

Please remember if you ever come across a snake to keep your distance and do not attempt to handle a snake.🐍 the residents did an amazing job keeping a good eye on the snake for us . Always call a professional 💚

Friday afternoon we were busy with an interview with , when we got a urgent call from buildit mandini for a big grey snake🐍 turns out it was a huge 3 meter black mamba ⚠️( neurotoxic venom) . We were so grateful to be able to take the newspaper with us to raise awareness on venomous snakes in south Africa 🐍

Today we had an amazing call out for a " big grey snake" in a kitchen and they were convinced it was a mamba 🐍 however when we arrived we discovered this beautiful big female boomslang (Dispholidus typus) which has a potent haemotoxic venom ⚠️
It was amazing to educate the family on this beautiful snake and saving this girl 💚

Katana , our beautiful Malaysian king cobra is growing up to be strong🐍
King cobras are typically shy and will avoid humans but if threatened they will show their hood and "hiss" but it sounds like more of a chilling growl. If you get a bite from a king cobra is will be nasty, here in south Africa there is no Antivenom for king cobras. They are also the longest of all venomous snakes 🐍

Yesterday we had the honor of visiting , and of course we could not resist this big boy thor 🐍💚 thor is a Malaysian king cobra and is 11 years old. We hope one day our baby girl katana will be just as big as thor 💚
