We love conservation at Maynards, this is the last project for this year.
Hedges have so many benefits from their natural ability to capture pollution, reduce noise, mitigate flooding to providing food and shelter to wildlife 🌱

A massive thank you to The Marketing Store, a creative agency based in London, and their amazing volunteer team for visiting us again today and digging an area of 80 metres, ready for planting tomorrow. Such an amazing group of people who worked tirelessly all day to make sure the area was ready for our Mini Maynards and Duke of Edinburgh volunteers. We couldn’t implement conservation projects like this without the help of amazing people like you!

Winter is our most expensive time of year, and as we battle against the harsh weather and mud to keep the animals warm and dry things start to deteriorate. Mini Maynards: a great session yesterday learning about pigs, feeding and cleaning their bed. Fred and Gythia loved the attention and pumpkins!!
We also carved pumpkins and turned them into bird feeders!
