Puppies have sprouted teeth so with that comes introducing mush! Lots of changes happening as these sweet babies continue to grow! We have expanded their puppy area and put in litter box to start on potty training! What an exciting time we are going into!

🥰 this is Deuce! His owners sent an update and said “ Deuce is doing great! He loves playing fetch, rides in the car, and running in the woods! He isn’t big on swimming. He loves his people ( especially his Dad ) and loves to give hugs! He is very kind and loves to be loved on.”

Fun dog fact for the day!
Dogs hear 4 times more than humans do. They have 18 muscles in their ears used for hearing!! It may seem like a peaceful and quiet day to us, but our dogs will hear things we cannot. So when you have a dog who likes to alert you of things, keep that in mind when they bark or get restless 🥰

What is a German Shepadoodle?

The Shepadoodle, a crossbreed of a German Shepherd and a Poodle. They are versatile and an intelligent dog that combines the desirable traits of both the parent breeds. An F1B Shepadoodle is more poodle DNA ( 25%GS and 75% poodle )Their appearance can vary, with a coat that may be straight, wavy or curly and can come in various colors. Some even carry a fading gene and will continue to change color as they age! Grooming will be necessary depending on type of coat your pup has, so call and schedule with your groomer as soon as you can.

Temperament: They are intelligent, loyal, and energetic. They are playful and affectionate with family, but may show wariness towards strangers. They can be protective as well as sensitive. Experienced dog owners would do best with this breed.

Exercise Needs: Moderate to high – daily walks, playtime, and mental stimulation will be a necessity. They enjoy inside and outside play. Ours love snow and rain so don’t be surprised if they run out in the elements for awhile and just be silly while enjoying themselves! These dogs tend to bond deeply with their person/people. They may be your shadow and want to go every where with you.

Housing: I would not recommend this dog if you live in an apartment. Due to their size, their energy, and at times their loud barks, they would do best in a home with a yard.
They ultimately are an amazing dog! If you are looking for a smart, fun, and loyal companion this is it!!!

After tending to her puppies with much care and love over the last 24 hours Penny had a chance to get sleep, eat good food, and she even felt well enough to play outside ( for only a few minutes )…she is so happy right now 🥰 All of the puppies are doing great so far! I will do my best to respond to messages as well as post updates and pictures over the next few days.
