Poppy got her very first full groom under her belt with the best groomer ever and she did AHHMAZZZING! She is still waiting patiently for her furever family! 🥰 just over 7 months old, crate trained, house broken, fully vaccinated and up to date on flea and tick meds.

This girl, Poppy, is looking for a very special home. She is NOT for everyone but is for someone. She is super smart, affectionate, and completely weird all at the same time. Very “chatty”, especially in the mornings when coming out of her crate (no she isn’t dying or in pain… she just has a lot to say😆). Beautiful non shedding coat. Should reach about 45 lbs but she is super lean. Currently 31 lbs at 7 months. Functional Overbite. Fully vaccinated and crate trained through the night. Up to date on flea and tick meds. Comes microchipped. 99.9% house broken. Diet of raw food which she loves and thrives on. She sometimes behaves like a strong alpha around other dogs but behaviour is dumb like an omega. Would thrive in a home without other dogs she feels she needs to compete with. A true strong alpha who will put her in her place is fine. She needs a mature “alpha” as her owner who is willing to put the time in to continue her training. Preferably No first time dog owners please. It would be great if someone was home with her for a portion of the day as she would be very lonely otherwise. Poppy is very food motivated for training and knows a variety of commands. She would probably do amazing in scent work, agility or something that uses her brain. Rehoming fee will apply.

Poppy will be looking for a very special forever home coming up here. Someone who will love her for her, knowing she may have some upcoming medical costs. She has had a bit of a rough health start battling a stubborn bladder infection as well as an overbite. Our vet surgically pulled all 6 of her front lower teeth as they were stuck into her upper palate creating a large amount of pain. The overbite she will most likely have for life, which in all honesty, hasn’t prevented her from living a normal dog life. She loves to play, loves to snuggle, loves to BOOP, is smart as a whip and loves her treats, and can always be found at my feet or “helping” with the dishes. She is mostly house broken and crate trained through the night. She is currently on a raw meat diet which she is doing great on. I know there is a special place in someone’s heart and home for this wonderful gal, we just have to find it! ♥️ (forgot to mention she is fully vaccinated and up to date on flea and tick meds and dewormer)

A companion she can be with during the day would be ideal. She loves her people, loves to play, is quick to learn and is excelling in training (highly reward motivated).
