This is way over due. Adoptable kitty spotlight

Meet Macey! Macey is a former feral who has decided to give humans a second chance! She rocks her ear-tip like a queen. At just under a year old, Macey is full of energy and potential!

Macey loves to be pet, rubbed, brushed, and otherwise showered with affection. She even likes belly rubs! She does not tolerate being picked up, but might be able to learn given enough time and training. She will play with a wand, string, and toys endlessly, and is a big fan of kicker toys. She enjoys wet food and treats and is fairly food and play motivated. She is very vocal, loves to roll around on the ground, and purrs like it’s her day job.

Macey was born on the streets, grew up feral, and was trapped and spayed by her feeders at roughly three months old. For a long time, there was discussion about sending her back to a colony, given her strong fear of people and inability to be touched. After over six months of socialization with friendly cats and her human foster dad, however, Macey has finally made a breakthrough and learned that people aren’t so bad after all! She will need a home with a person who is patient and knows how to handle nervous kitties, as she will likely be skittish again for an adjustment period as she gets used to a new environment!

Macey loves other cats and would excel with a kitty of similar age who will cuddle with her and be an outlet for her playful energy. She has not been tested around dogs. Given her skittish nature, she will need a house without young children. Older kids should be fine! She is spayed, UTD on shots, flea treated, and FELV/FIV negative.

If you have a home for this girl and are willing to give her patience, she will reward you with so much love!

Hi Friends!

Kristin here, just quick note.

I started a new full time job in last few months. It’s very time consuming right now trying to help get the business up and running.

July also is my kids birthday, my birthday and my wedding anniversary. So spending time with my family and stealing a few minutes for myself is important.

I also have a full house of fosters in addition to my own animals and responsibilities.

Plus duties to our partnership with Petsmart charities adoption center.

On top of all that I’m currently only one answering our phone messages and emails. So if you reach out please be patient. To say I’m busy is understatement.

Trying to manage all the things bare with me.

Just an update we are not currently taking in cats.

We do not have foster available. Unfortunately we just don’t have logical space to take in more cats and give them proper care.

Say hi to our smallest Harley’s kitties. Momma gave birth on a porch in the that sweltering heat of last few days.

We could use some Royal Canin Mother baby cat wet food. It’s formulated with extra calories to help momma keep up milk production keeping these little nuggets fed. Also paper towels to help with all the extra cleaning. We all know how messy babies can be.

The food is on our chewy and Amazon wishlists. Or Petsmart sells it. If you’d like to order we could pick it up.

Have you ever thought about helping cats/kittens? Do you work from home/are stay at home parent or retired? We have a few fosters that need more socializing. They are single kittens 5-8months. They were trapped on older side so their people skills need extra touches. Our current fosters all work full time so it’s a struggle to get them as much attention that’s beneficial to them. Think you could help? Let us know! These babies deserve all the love but they need to know that people are there for love not to let them down like old life.

When you adopt a cat from us I always say no matter if it’s in an hr or four years from now if you have a cat issue ask me. Worst I can do is say no/I don’t know.

Well today one of our adopters put that into action, and I’m so proud.

This kitty was their downstairs neighbors. Those neighbors got evicted. They took their dog and some of their belongings. But apparently decided this poor guy was expendable and left him behind.

Lucky for him my adopters knew he used to reside in the apartment and when he came up to their door crying they knew they had to help.

They set up a temporary foster space in their home office and reached out to us.

I couldn’t say no to this one. So meet our newest Harley’s cat. He’s around 9-10 months old. Doesn’t appear to be neutered yet so odds are he wasn’t vetted and was acquired as a free kitten.

Anyone willing to step up and donate toward this handsome man’s new start on his better life? His vetting will run us about $125 to get him ready to find his new humans who won’t ever leave him on the curb like an old couch on trash day ever again.

Kitten season is the song that never ends these days. So here’s the latest.

One of our fosters called me and said a neighbor had a momma and her tiny littles living in a pile of leaves near their house. Of course we told her to go bring them in. Saturday was to chilly for these guys to stay out any longer. We’re letting momma do her thing so not sure of sexes on babies yet. But keep eyes peeled for cute updates.
