We relaxed for a few minutes after our first Urban CGC class to plan our upcoming locations and adventures. Our dogs handled the noise, traffic, strangers, etc. at Bridge Park like seasoned pros. Next week we'll focus on some of the more basic skills like waiting while the handler has a snack.

We are going to be enjoying the beautiful fall weather by having a 6-week Urban Canine Good Citizen class on Sunday afternoons at 2PM starting 9/14. Locations will vary and will be in Dublin. Our first location will be Bridge Park. We'll return to the Westerville JC Pool Building in 2026.

Our 25th AKC FIT DOG walk will be on Labor Day (9/1) at 10 am. The location is Red Trabue Nature Reserve at 6500 Post Road, Dublin. Guests are always welcome!

What a lovely evening! Our annual awards picnic was enjoyed last night with delicious food (aren't potlucks the BEST?), many members receiving awards for new titles and a very lively auction.

Our club organizes monthly dog walks, but we also offer fitness classes. AKC Fit Dog Level 1 is the first level in a three-tiered program focused on canine fitness and fun, developed by the American Kennel Club. It's designed for healthy dogs to improve their balance, flexibility, stamina, and overall fitness through structured activities and positive reinforcement-based training. Level 1 introduces basic fitness exercises and behaviors, and completing it contributes points towards earning AKC Fit Dog titles. Interested?

Congratulations to the Furry FUNd$ Flyball Team on their first Festival at CATC! Our club enjoyed the opportunity to meet new canine enthusiasts to promote our AKC FIT DOG walks and fitness classes. We have just started to plan our 25th dog walk.
