Just an update to let everyone know I’ve had the pump on the van sorted so it’s business as usual for the next few weeks. I’m on holiday beginning of March I have limited appointments available from now until 4th March so please get in touch to book in before I go away. While I’m away I have plans in place to refurb the van which could potentially mean the Cadi-Shack could be off the road for a few weeks. I will know more on the timescale of how long the work is likely take sometime this week, I will keep you all updated when I have more info.

Just when I get things back up
and running the curve ball gets launched and hits me right between the eyes 😖 yep you guessed it the pump in the van has given up yet again. I have contacted my customers who are booked in tomorrow as it’s not looking like the problem is a quick fix. I’ll be in contact with you if you are booked in this week and keep you updated. Apologies for the inconvenience 😕

Just another update on the van. I am back up and running but the water pump isn’t firing on all cylinders 😩 so it’s taking me a bit longer to wash the dogs. Any one who’s had appointments postponed I am trying my hardest to get you all rebooked as soon as I can. Anyone who’s messaged for an appointment please bear with me I’m not ignoring anyone I’m flat out trying to get my van sorted and reschedule appointments. spring can’t come quick enough 💐🐣🐰

With regards to the sub zero temperatures the over past few days, the pipes have frozen in the van causing one to burst and the shower hose in the bath to explode with the pressure of the ice. The water tank has also frozen over. I understand this is an inconvenience as you’re needing your dogs groomed but this is also an inconvenience for me! I know some may think I’m not wanting to work in this cold weather but this is certainly not the case as I’d much rather be out there grooming your doggies, as anyone who is self employed will know if my wheels ain’t turning I ain’t earning! It’s not just the inconvenience of not getting out to you it’s having to reschedule all the clients affected. I am doing my upmost best but working outdoors with water at -5 it’s totally beyond my control so please bear with me. Im not yet sure the extent of any damage to the water pipes and pump as I need it to throughly defrost before turning it on. I hope you all understand. I can however work from my friends salon as mentioned in my previous post until I can get the van back up and running. Any one desperate for their dog/s grooming please get in contact. I can be at the salon tomorrow afternoon.
