We currently have two boxes free here at Liam Gayfer Equestrian Services that have become available.

Located in Bedingfield we have, a wonderful 60x30 arena and plenty of turnout with the use of a weighbridge, vibroplate and solarium at our disposal.

We have been taking horses in for:

- Breaking
- Pre training
- Schooling livery
- Rest and rehab
- Behavioural issues
- Sales livery
- Holiday livery

And much more!

Fully insured and with years of experience, no problem is too big or small!

I also offer freelance services but with the added time strain of running the yard freelance sessions are limited to afternoons (or evenings in the summer months).

This lovely lad is looking for a new 🏡 A genuine, honest and kind horse, he’s been with us a few weeks now and has come on plenty since first arriving!

- Hacks 100% safe alone or with company.
- Has the basics of schooling down and could easily be brought on to a higher level.
- Has been to ESPC (Essex and Suffolk Pony Club) camp and was fantastic.
- Honest jumper.
- Easy to handle, turn out/in etc.
- Can be turned out alone.
- Stands for farrier/vet.
- Very mannerly.
- Eligible for RoR classes.

Would be great to see this lad go to someone looking to enjoy him for fun rides, hacking, schooling or even RoR.

Looking for a new 🏡

This lovely little 3yo mare has been sent to us on sales livery and is looking for a new home. She was in training on a flat racing yard up until around 2 months ago and has settled into normal life brilliantly. Incredibly gentle and easy to handle, this little lady has taken everything in her stride from hacking out on her own to starting basic schooling. Good blank canvas with a very trainable attitude, in time she could make a cracking little RoR horse but I’m sure she could turn her hoof to many other walks of life!

Following on from my earlier post, we had our first resident move in around a week ago -

Aqua is an 11yo 14.2hh Appaloosa gelding with a fantastic temperament who is looking for a new 🏠 and has come to us for sales livery.

This much loved horse is sadly for sale due to his owner has decided to retire from riding.

He was previously used for hacking and fun rides but we feel he has the potential to give so much more!

- Excellent hacking alone and in company.
- Stands to tack up groom and mount.
- Stands for farrier
- Loads and travels foot perfect.
- Happy to travel alone or with another horse.
- Good in green open spaces.
- Happily jumps coloured poles and fences (really enjoys his jumping!)

Incredibly gentle and genuine little horse, this chap would suit a mother daughter share or would be the perfect second horse for a confident teenager.

Aqua will be available for viewing in around a weeks time, please don’t hesitate to message for more information.

Liam Gayfer Equestrian services now finally has a base of operations!

Located in Bedingfield we now have 6 boxes (potential to take on more), a wonderful 60x30 arena and plenty of turnout with the use of a weighbridge, vibroplate and solarium at our disposal!

We will be taking horses in for:

- Breaking
- Pre training
- Schooling livery
- Rest and rehab
- Behavioural issues
- Sales livery
- Holiday livery

And much more!

I plan to still be riding freelance but with the added time strain of running the yard freelance sessions will have to be limited to afternoons (or evenings in the summer months).

A fantastic day out yesterday at Ikesthall hunter trials where I had two rides for Marie Smith and picked up a last minute ride for Vanessa Francis on the lovely Meg.
Marie’s Murphy was great and with a little encouragement had a cracking go at the 90cm and got round safe and sound.
Merlin gave me an awesome ride and flew round the 1m with out hesitation! 🐎
And Meg gave me a cracking ride considering we didn’t have long to get acquainted and took me round the course confidently to go clear for owner Vanessa Francis.

Also the results came in this evening and we won the 1m class with Merlin! 🙌 He’d won the class two years running previously (not with me riding) so the pressure was on and I’m glad we managed to make it three years running 😁 Congratulations to Marie Smith and I would like to thank both owners for all three rides 👍

A great shot of myself and Rupert (my lad) messing about behind the scenes while we were doing some film work in one of two movies we did for Picture Perfect Ltd last year.
A fantastic insight into the world of filmmaking and got to meet some wonderful people and actors and would love to do more in the future - Rupert also turned out to be quite the natural moviestar and seemed to love all the cameras and attention! 😂

Great to hear such wonderful feedback from clients, this little mare has been a diamond to ride and is coming on leaps and bounds after each session, but just looks to the rider for that confidence. Her first hack out in 4 years was successful and stress free under the careful guidance of stablemate Fred and we came home with two very relaxed, happy horses. Onwards and upwards!

Just back home from her first hack out in 4 years. Marched out in front, happy and relaxed, even though we met 2 cars and a tractor within the 1st 100yds. She takes all her confidence from her rider (which I lack), and Liam is perfect for her - kind, compassionate and quietly confident. Can't thank you enough Liam, in just a few sessions you've achieved so much and with no stress at all, which is all that matters.
