Our last dwarf babies arrived a couple days ago and I couldn’t be happier with the turn out. Dwarves have been a big goal of mine for a couple years and to finally be able to produce them feels like such a huge accomplishment.

Holstein has always been such a gem and he has only gotten better with age. I have high hopes for him and Azula as they both come from amazing lines (Gourd made his mark on my rattery 🥰).

Sweet Suki welcomed three babies into the world!

She had a hard time with labor that resulted in the loss of two of her babies and two being stuck to the point she needed assistance getting them in position to be born. She is doing good and her remaining three babies are doing okay at this time.

Okay, I hadn’t posted about this litter because it was more of a personal litter as I didn’t keep any from her first litter which is entirely my fault. Corvette welcomed 11 beautiful babies on 12/11/2024 along side Belle and has done an amazing job. These are her last babies and she will be retired and live out the rest of her life being the amazing girl she is.

The first six are boys and the other five are girls. The ones with a question mark on their pictures are strictly based on the fact that I am not 100% sure on their color.

Update on Belle’s babies.

At this time, it’s looking like we have no boys with crypto!! I am still going to be monitoring them over the next couple of weeks as they continue to grow and develop but it’s looking like we took a step in the right direction! 🥰

As we welcome in the new year, these are a couple things going on for the start of the year here at THOM:

We are expecting dwarves this month and with all the work that has gone into them, we are extremely excited to see how they turn out and will continue working to better their temperaments.

We will continue working on the Spotted Tabby/Marble line as we continue to work out crypto. We are highly focused on their health at this time.

We will continue to have rats available throughout the year but those two projects are top priority.

I look forward to where the year will take us and I appreciate each and every one of you that have stuck around. 💛

As today marks not only the first day of winter but also the shortest day and longest night of the year, I am reminded to take a step back from social media for a couple days and ground myself.
