🐾 Update on Xander, First known as Mr. Blue. 💙 I have the pleasure of taking care of Xander from time to time, and it's an understatement to say he is one of the best dogs. Xander is from Pehton's Puppies first litter Tucker and Maizy. Seeing my puppies again grown up is one of the most heart warming experiences. Enjoy the pictures of him 🥰

🐾 I'm also excited to announce Pehton's Puppies is currently transitioning into a full time pet sitting operation (and hopefully grooming/training in the near future). I'm ecstatic to meet everyone's fur babies and further explore the industry of pets.. if your going out of town, or need someone to check in on your beloved pets while you at work etc... I am your gal! I offer a wide variety of services, from dog walking to overnight house sitting. ☺️🐾🐈🐐🐕‍🦺 (Chico/Durham area only)

About 7 weeks ago, I posted about our singleton puppy. I am pleased to share that she is doing so well. We will be having one more litter with Maizy in about six months. 🐾🦴

The last small litter I had was when we bred our American Golden, she had three puppies. Since then, I haven't experienced such an obstacle as a breeder (yes, I was very young when we bred our American Golden but I do qualify it as my first litter my family and I experienced as breeders). Surprisingly, I can say with confidence that 1 might be more difficult than 8 or even 3, as silly as that sounds. Singleton's being alone pose a whole new realm of difficulties in care, as well as challenges within a breeding program. Many families will not receive a puppy this breeding cycle, which is upsetting. However, as I give you a snapshot into my caffeine infused world (I'm not getting much sleep these days) I thankfully can say that even though she is only a couple days old, she has given my family and I so much love and many memories that I will never forget. I am so thankful that she is alive and thriving. ❤️

A quick update on upcoming litters: We currently have SIX deposits in for Maizy's upcoming litter. Last year she had eight beautiful and healthy puppies (5 girls and three boys). We bred her a couple weeks ago to a breeder in Oregon with an amazing stud. She has her confirming ultrasound appointment on the 21st! We are so excited!
