This waterproof material is thicker and holds its shape in a way far superior to previous versions of Scout. The new design of Scout has an extended rear panel, providing a sturdy base and ergonomic comfort. The front zipper pocket with a low profile waste bag dispenser above the zipper keeps waste bags out of the way and provides secure storage for personal items. . Three main updates to Hopper! The most obvious is the front zipper pocket with secure storage for small personal items. Arguably one of the most impactful updates is the rear panel installation velcro. Lift up the rear pad to feed the shoulder strap through the designated slit and secure the velcro around the other straps. An additional detachable shoulder strap attaches to Hopper and Scout rear panels. This makes it optional to use - but I highly recommend it! It evenly distributes the additional weight from the hydration pack. The extra strap also provides more stability and security while engaging in more vigorous activity like running and jumping. . 🏃🏽‍♀️CANICROSS 🐕 . So much information to cover in just 90 seconds so we will definitely be revisiting this topic! I will do another video at some point about the dog end of the leash and how and when we use the Hopper Pack. . Scout 2.0 is comfortable and light weight for running. I fold over whatever liner I’m using so that treats don’t hop out of the liner and out of the bag. I also carry peanut butter in a squeeze tube because I find this to be easier for the dogs to ingest while being active. . I recently switched to Canix belt from @nonstopdogwear - and y’all may or may not know@that my career outside of ShineHaus is as a fitness professional. And as a fitness professional I don’t think there is a belt on the market better than the Canix belt. It’s not only comfortable and ergonomic, but it’s the most orthopedically safe in my educated opinion. . Other running belts or hands free walking belts that go around the waist can increase pressure and stress on the low back. (Low back pain is the NUMBER ONE self reported orthopedic issue in the United States, BTW.) I’m not making the case that it’s because of these belts, but they’re certainly not going to help. . I also want to let you know that we are not in anyway sponsored by Nonstop Dog Wear. I paid full price for this belt, I just think it’s incredible and integral in its design. .
