سقراط : ما هو الذي دفعك إلى الإعتقاد بذلك ؟!
الرجل : ألا ترى كيف تبدو ملابسها ؟
سقراط : أيهما يحقق الفضيلة الظلم او الحق ؟!
الرجل : الحق طبعا
سقراط: وهل الحكم بالظن من اوجه الظلم أو الحق ؟!
الرجل : من اوجه الظلم
‏سقراط : وهل حكمت على تلك المرأة بالفجور من باب الظن أو اليقين ؟!
الرجل : الظن يا سقراط
سقراط : وايهما اقرب للفجور من يحكم على الناس بالظن و الظاهر أو من يلتزم الصمت ؟!
الرجل : من يحكم على الناس بالظن و الظاهر
سقراط : فمن هو الفاجر اليوم انت أم المرأة !
