Meet Luke: The most perfect old man. A new client of mine that came to me after being turned away from his previous groomer due to his age and inability to stand for a long time. His mom is the sweetest lady and is a great example of choosing the comfort of her pet over the vanity of his looks. She understood he is a hard groom and was over joyed to receive a less than perfect hair cut as long as her baby felt better. And that’s what we did. To keep him comfortable we skipped the fine touches shaved him down all over and gave him some extra support when he needed it. While he has some stray hairs he felt like a new man after his cut. As a lesson while caring for your pet comfort should always come before vanity.
