** COLD WEATHER ALERT **
Hi Everybody!
YumYum here! We are experiencing some cold daytime and overnight temperatures. Even light winds contribute to really cold wind chill temperatures. Look at the temps right now!!! It’s going to get a lot colder overnight. 🥶
These really cold temps are dangerous and can be deadly to us pets. Extra measures need to be taken to ensure our safety and well-being. Both kitties and doggies can suffer from hypothermia, even those with heavy coats! All us doggies and kitties are susceptible to frostbite on our noses, the pads of our feet, our ears, and our belly area. PLEASE bring us inside.
If your circumstances make it difficult to bring your pets in, it is critical to make sure that they have access to a warm, insulated shelter of some type, water, and food.
