Super day out at CHAPS SE Regional Showing Barleylands EC pre Windsor run out for the boy and he didn’t disappoint . What a haul of rosettes and sashes.

On behalf of client - 4yo native cob type mare approx 13.2 / 13.3 . Super easy , has started her ridden education here and is backed walking trotting of the lunge happily hacked out being brought on slowly but offered where she is in her education for someone to put their own stamp on her . Lovely balanced paces for a just broken, old head on young shoulders .
Has been to the busiest of shows Inhand and loved it very successful Inhand showing career .
Happy in or out no lami sweeitch or know health conditions vices injuries clean vet history currently barefoot fully passported and microchipped .

3yo Highland Pony c**t - currently unlicenced
Lightly backed - very easy to do totally unphased walking trotting of the lunge but only been off the lunge a handful of times prior to being turned away - He’s currently in his winter scruffs but was tacked up today for a couple of photos and was as good as gold .

Loads travels stabled next to a mare not c**ty at all but does need a knowledgeable handler. Good to bath trim groom for the farrier to catch etc no known vices or health issues . He has all the makings to be a hoys pony open or if gelded a top junior . Lightly but successfully shown including champion highland at equifest .

I’m really bad at posting on here 🥴

I love following ponies that have come through the yard . This beautful girl was sent to us by her breeder on sales livery and to be backed for whilst she was here .. everything was done in the time scale of her livery package and she was delivered to her new home .

Cable and her new mum are away and doing amazingly with the support of the super Kelly Jones the improvement in such a short time is incredible from lightly backed to working beautifully in such a short time. I can’t wait to see how they get on next show season 😍

Children’s ponies are my fave !
Lulu came to find the perfect home and we have done just that - after an assessment period and a bit of time here she’s sold to the first people to view, her new little person fell in love when we brought her in from the field together and despite having done Minimal jumping was flying little fences at the end of their first session - what a 4yo !
Enquired Tuesday - Viewed Wednesday - vetting booked- 5 stage vetting complete Friday - collected and in her new home Saturday 🎉

Very best of Welsh cob breeding from the infamous Llanarth stud. He’s a huge mover with good conformation a huge front, loads of bone and feather and a beautful head to match.

Same home 7years till June 23. An absolute dream to handle on the ground my 6yo son leads him around brings him from the field and led him round at a show . Pleasure to work with catch bath for the farrier load travel etc lives in or out turns out with mares or geldings super loving and affectionate with others in the field -

He is not a novice ride, he is exceptionally well schooled, natural head carriage and very off the leg. He is a big powerful Welsh cob with extravagant paces . He can be looky and spooky and is sensitive. I have spent over a month working with him and have had teeth sorted back done physio feet vaccinations restarted treated him and he’s a lot happier than when he arrived . Happy to discuss in full detail with anybody genuinely interested.

With the right person this little horse has the potential to go to the top hoys ri Olympia and has the movement for dressage . He would also equally enjoy a low key happy hacking less pressure home. He doesn’t seem to like jumping so haven’t pushed it has done pole work in his previous home.

If your saw this young ladies smiles today 🥹. Little dash has been with us 6 weeks for breaking. His owner Megan has worked really hard since buying him at 6 months old working with him on the ground preparing him for time to go to be broken - He’s now ready to go home , he walks trots a canters hacks alone in company in traffic, open spaces first or last he will canter through big fields pull up when you ask and walk quietly - I love doing children’s ponies more than anything else - Megan has autism and is only 11 so it was really important that dash was safe and sensible, he made my job pretty easy he has a heart of gold and he really loves Megan.

I can’t wait to watch their progress and together when he goes home tomorrow 🤩❤️

Today was a good day - I quite like being on the floor supervising bossing and pony polishing,need to brush up on my videoing skills though 🤦🏽‍♀️

Llanarth Twysog winning and taking overall reserve ridden champion Levi Hepburn super job piloting him.

On our way We picked up Maddie Hepburn and her beautiful boy Tourbeck lad whom she brought of my yard earlier this year after him being with us for a year, they won their ridden class and the concours and maddie finally got a fabulous picture of her and fin in her dress. Julia Hepburn Hepburn let me loose with both her children and they both did great she even got to us in time for work to watch .

Philip Ward-Burton didn’t let the side down (not that I expect anything less😏) winning with a lovely fell mare he produces and taking overall Inhand champion.

The saying goes your only as good as the people around you and I guess I was with the best and my most favourite people today ☺️ Thankyou Mellissa Startin for a wonderful show

We’ve had some amazing showing results this year despite it being a quieter season after my injuries last October I’ve been having to take things a bit steadier -

SD red gambler started the season winning herts county and reserve champion he then booked his 3rd return ticket to Horse of the Year Show at Derbyshire festival the next two outings to Norfolk and equifest saw a run of unlucky seconds before he had another win and reserve champion at Blakesley show qualifying for the The London International Horse Show

Skelwith Adonis won partbred stallions and took champion wpcs silver medal at towerlands silver nasal show .He also had a win at Derbyshire festival

Magnus of achacarry 3yo highland c**t has had 4 outings with 3 wins and 3 championships including champion highland pony at equifest getting a spin un the evening m&m supreme .

Thistle has had a late start to the season with a problem tooth abscess his first outing saw him win and take exmoor breed champion at equifest heading a class of stallions as a gelding.

I’m really bad at posting - but we really do have a lovely bunch of horses here at the moment, some pics from today.

Will make a top junior/ worker bold and brave with a mega jump and loads of scoop popping 70/80cm courses with ease. Been xc sj dressage hacks alone or in company.

Movement to die for expressive paces and straight. Easy to handle and do same home since a foal been started beautifully. Lulu has a great brain and is a safe sensible ride .

⭐️ Full grass Retirment/youngstock livery ⭐️

I have space for 2 newbies to join us on a longterm basis.

Twice daily checks, plenty of grass ad-lib hay in winter if required .

Fly spray and sun cream offered in summer, pig oil on legs in winter for mud protection. Farrier services for feet trims and worming included. Any rug changes fly masks etc . Holding for the vet farrier physio or whatever they may need. These horses mix with my own and are treated as such .

Lovely herd of no more than 10 separate 6 acres for the geldings in summer to allow for rotation . Lots of references from long standing liveries who have been here since we started .

Updates like this always make my day - ❤️❤️

Finn came on behalf of a client he had started being backed by someone and had given a few issues so after some investigations and downtime he came to me to be restarted . After a short time he proved to be very versatile and willing. Fast forward 8 months his owner decided he would be the one of her 2 with me she sold .

He sold to the first people to view and try him and still lives in my village. He is literally his little girls bestfriend making her dreams come true . Today they went to his first PC cross country rally and completely smashed it together.

Seeing the horses and ponies come on, find their perfect partners and go on to do amazing things is what I love the most about what i do ❤️

🐎Full Retirement/youngstock grass Vacancy🐎

Due to the selling of 2 of my own broodmares and one of out 3 year residents being sold as a broodmare yesterday I will have vacancies for 3 retirement /youngstock liveries under 16h from April .

Mixed winter herd split in spring summer. Currently all 15h and under mixture of broodmares youngsters and retired.

All daily care, twice daily checks, rug changes, farrier and worming included ad-lib hay in winter . 18 acres with natural shelter automatic water and another separate 6 acre summer paddock .

Fully insured established buisness our current retired boys have been with us since we started . Regular vet physio and theraplate visits.

This is full grass livery only I do not offer diy grass livery.

Perfect baby ponies this weekend -
Lenny 3yo traditional gelding 3 weeks into his stay at school and young owner lilly got to come and hack with us on him for the first time - ❤️
Sec d gelding chip 3 weeks in had his first hack out today and is getting more and more confident by the day 😎
Connemara 4yo gelding fin is now a pro happy hacker and schooling nicely on the flat too, nearly ready for a show 😍
Mai 11yo sec d mare starting to relax and enjoy her ground work, she’s a bit slower coming round to this working life having been a Inhand show and broodmare all her life, you can’t rush perfection and this girl is going to be special under saddle. 🤩

Perfect confidence giving, mother daughter share Rosie is a 9yo 13.3 traditional gypsy cob mare. Registered with chaps up to date with vaccinations worming farrier etc with no known vices or health issues . Rosie has spent the last year being a child’s first pony to build a little girls confidence and is only available as they are now ready for a bigger speedier jumping pony . Has done fun rides, xc schooling, showing PC dressage and excelled in every sphere. During her assessment period here Rosie has passed everything with flying colours, she schools with three nice paces and proven has safe and reliable both in the school and out hacking on the road and in open spaces, with capable and less capable riders both young and older .
She is well marked with good conformation, a lovely head, plenty of bone and feather long silky mane and tail . Rosie is available with her tack and rugs available to view and try and is open to vetting, she passed a 2 stage vetting in 2021 .

Very good doer, lives in or out .

148cm coloured native cob type mare - Lilly

Hoys showing prospect in the right hands this mare could go all the way to the very top in showing beautifully marked . Huge talent over a fence, keen bold and brave would make an equally good all rounder pony club xc sj etc . Comfortably jumping courses 90cm in the arena .

Dream to handle on the ground really kind affectionate great for farrier trim bath catch etc no known vices or health issues. Had very very mild sweet itch in her previous home (same home since foal). This has been managed here with a simple fly rug and fly spray. Up to date working farrier vaccinations etc etc

Not a complete novices ride, she’s perfectly safe not naughty or nasty No ridden vices but is forward and switched on not a kick along type she loves to work and aims to please schools nicely on the flat. Good to hack likes to be at the front has been hacking with a mother daughter share who takes a little shetland and a child so safe . Fine in open spaces traffic etc . Turns out with others .

Star of the day again is Scottie the flying exmoor who we have re broken and he is loving his work now first time we have jumped him under saddle and he loves it ❤️
